Toudou was originally a salaryman who died from overwork. He was reborn as a high-school student at Kōdo Ikusei High School with the Involution Core, a system that scans other people’s skill trees and lets him simulate learning their abilities. On his first day, he immediately begins cataloguing students as potential sources of useful skills. 1 2

Assigned to Class B, he deliberately treats its stable atmosphere as a favorable base for cultivating connections, gaining Affection, and unlocking skills. He presents himself as quiet, gentle, and unremarkable while privately pursuing the identity of a “Skill Hunter.” 7 13
