Morishita Ai sat down, picked up her chopsticks, and first placed a piece of Fried Shrimp into Kazehara Tetsu's bowl, smiling eagerly. "Hurry and try it. This tempura was just fried—I specifically waited for a fresh batch!"

Kazehara Tetsu looked at the golden, crispy Fried Shrimp in his bowl, then at her expectant face, and finally picked up his chopsticks.

He took a bite.

It really was crisp, with a thin batter and springy shrimp meat, the fragrance of the oil spreading through his mouth.

"Not bad," he remarked flatly.

Morishita Ai immediately looked pleased, as though she had been praised herself. "I'm super good at picking food! And this roast beef is super tender too!"

As she spoke, she placed another large piece of roast beef onto his plate.

Yamamura Miki, sitting beside her, chimed in as well. "Morishita waited with me for ages when she saw the roast beef being grilled."

Morishita Ai stuffed another piece of Sushi onto Kazehara Tetsu's plate. "Eat up, eat up! There's more if it's not enough. It's a Buffet anyway, so just take whatever you want!"

Kazehara Tetsu looked at the ever-growing pile of food on his plate, then at the two nearly untouched "mountains" on the table, and the corner of his mouth twitched.

He finally understood.

These two had not invited him to eat with them at all.

They had clearly brought him here as a cleanup crew.

He raised his eyes and looked at Morishita Ai across from him. "You took so much. Aren't you going to eat it yourself?"

"I am..."

Morishita Ai immediately nodded, picked up a small piece of Tamagoyaki, and put it into her mouth. "I just wanted to try a little of everything, so I took a bit too much."
