The Sanguine themselves don't have enough special abilities.
After all, they have long lifespans, are not easy to die from, and are numerous.
What Altair said to that Sanguine wasn't actually hoping that his parents would bring him a lot of wealth as ransom to buy him back.
Because the benefits gained in this way are the most unprofitable.
The main reason for keeping this Sanguine is to use him to contact the Sanguine's higher-ups, the real higher-ups.
But as a minor figure, she certainly doesn't need to influence high-level decisions, so she needs to use some tactics.
As he pondered this, Altair picked up the pen beside him and wrote, "To His Excellency Earl Owen Donovan (Uncle), Madam Donovan (Sister Hether)."
"May you receive this letter with peace of mind."
"Linze is a treasure trove of wondrous creatures, and I have recently been attacked twice, acquiring two new rare and exotic beasts: a Werewolf and a Vampire. I find these two creatures quite astonishing, and have specially prepared an elegant banquet to invite you both to the garden to witness the wonders of these creatures, to enjoy the tranquility of the garden, and to partake in fine tea and delicacies for our leisurely conversation."
We cordially invite Your Excellency both to a refined gathering at Bexland Sheffield Manor, Empress Borough, Backlund, on Tuesday, May 2, 1347, at 3:00 p. m., to appreciate the wonders of nature and spend a leisurely time together.
If you agree, please reply before May 1, 1347, so that I can arrange a guided tour of the garden for you both and discuss various matters during the gathering.
"If I do not receive a response or am not satisfied with the compensation by May 1st," this Vampire will be exhibited in Bexland, allowing the world to appreciate the wonders of nature.
"Earl Altair Sheffield cordially invites you."

After finishing the letter, Altair couldn't help but chuckle mischievously, "Sister Hether, it's not my fault. He attacked me first."
"And also, who told you to send me a bunch of dogs on my birthday and praise me for actually being a dog?"
"Proud Sanguine, let me see how effective this method is for you. If you ignore me, I'll really treat him like an animal and put him on a traveling exhibition."
"If that doesn't work, put him at an auction and sell him. In this ordinary world, Vampire as pets sounds quite amusing."
After binding the letter, Altair pulled out another sheet of blank paper and began writing a letter to Uncle Leif: "My dearest Uncle Leif."
"I received your tearful letter, wishing you all is well at home. I am still in shock and can only express my fear and grievances through writing."
"This afternoon, while having dinner at a Coffee Shop on Vlad Street in the East District of Bexland, I was drugged and attacked by a thug. The perpetrator was brutal and, although he did not seriously injure me, he terrified me. To this day, I feel physically and mentally exhausted and have been unable to eat or sleep properly."
What chills me to the bone, infuriates me, and leaves me unable to decide how to proceed is that this person is Sanguine. I cannot be certain whether he is a member of Hether Grant's clan, or whether dealing with him will affect our cooperation with Uncle Owen Donovan —this person committed such a despicable attack on a woman; his wickedness and despicable actions are utterly outrageous.
"I am alone and unable to make a decision, so I am writing to consult my uncle on how to handle this."

After finishing the letter intended for outsiders, Altair put it away, took out a new sheet of paper, and wrote, "Dear Uncle Leif."
"Zhan Xin An"
This letter will be burned immediately after reading.
"This Sanguine attack, though quite dangerous, did not cause me any problems. The attacker was merely a Sequence Seven Vampire."
"The main reason I am writing this letter is to explain my plan: through the Vampire captured in this attack, I will force the Sanguine to cooperate with me so that I can obtain the High Sequence Beyonder Characteristic of the Moon pathway."
"For example, my plan is to use this novel animal banquet as a pretext to force the Sanguine elites to attend. Then, using medical cooperation as a common interest, I'll force them to cooperate, and under the pretext of needing promotion, I'll demand a trade for Beyonder Characteristic— "
"But I'm afraid the Sanguine might send High Sequence experts to threaten, suppress, and seize a lot of profits, so I'd like to ask Uncle Leif to invite a few more powerful individuals to the banquet."

After carefully folding the private letter, Altair rewrote the invitation to see the rare animals several times by hand before putting it into the envelope.
After ringing the bell to summon Butler Hahn, Altair held up two letters and said, "Take this letter to Uncle Leif immediately. Deliver it to him personally, and after he has read it, let him decide whether you want to send the next letter."
"If Uncle Leif asks you to deliver the next letter, ---- you~"
"Just hand it to the gatekeeper and run. No need to stop or go inside the manor to hand it over yourself."
Tell the driver: Go as fast as you can, or you'll get beaten.
After receiving the letter, Butler Hahn nodded without saying or asking anything, and left Altair's study directly.
They left Sheffield Manor by carriage and headed to the home of Earl Leif Count Strauss.
Uncle Leif took the letter from Butler Hahn, opened it, and read it. His expression was unpredictable.
He rubbed his forehead, thought for a moment, and then said to Hahn, "Go and deliver the second letter."
"Remember to knock and then just leave the mail by the door; there's no need to wait for someone to come and collect it."
"When you run, run as fast as you can."
"I know everything." Hahn said this, his face pale, and then turned and left the Strauss Manor.
As the carriage approached the entrance to Donovan's estate, Hahn spotted a newspaper boy in the distance.
When Hahn called him over, he asked, "Son, how fast can you run at your fastest?"
"Hmm~" the newspaper boy thought for a moment and then replied, "I don't know either, sir, but my colleagues all praise me for being the fastest runner among them."
Upon hearing this, Hahn smiled and nodded, saying, "I've bought all these newspapers. I'll also give you a 10- soli tip. Now all you need to do is throw this letter at the gate of that manor."
"Just remember to run there as fast as you can, knock on the door, throw the letter out, and leave the West Borough as quickly as possible."
After handing over the newspaper and receiving the money and letter, the newspaper boy said to Hahn, "Thank you very much, sir."
Seeing the children preparing to leave, Hahn quickly got into the carriage and had the driver whip the horses hard, leaving the West Borough as fast as possible and heading towards Empress Borough.
Not long after, a roar that echoed throughout the Donovan manor resounded, "Altair!!!!"
