"You'd been feeling so unwell that you stayed in your room and slept, hadn't you?"

Ayanokoji grabbed her by the shoulders. His grip was surprisingly strong.

"So what if I did!? The exam ends in just over a day, and I'm the leader. I've managed to hold on this long—do you expect me to give up now!?"

Horikita was stubborn, and Ayanokoji knew she wouldn't give up easily.

"Let go. Your hand hurts."
