Background / History

Ayanokoji entered the school after escaping the White Room, an institution that uses extreme methods to raise geniuses. He was the only Fourth Generation student to complete its training, and was regarded as its “masterpiece.” 315 317 543

His enrollment was arranged through the Matsuo butler, who acted against Ayanokoji’s father’s wishes. The resulting persecution of the Matsuo family eventually led Matsuo Eiichiro to take his own life, creating the basis for Nanase Tsubasa’s hostility toward Ayanokoji. 515 516

At school, Ayanokoji initially concealed his abilities behind an unremarkable profile: average grades, no club activities or class role, and little visible social presence. He deliberately maintained this facade to avoid expectations and attention. 288 374 427
