Background

The first Dimension Will was born when a dominant mythical civilization reached its height. Conflict between that civilization and the newly living dimension escalated into a war that nearly annihilated both sides; the will fell, while the civilization's Primeval Life was exiled to higher dimensions. It later revived and fought Blue Star's subsequent overlord civilization. 508

The Dimension Will's deeper origin is uncertain. Li Mu identifies the Ancient Wilderness Sacred Ancestor as its previous incarnation, then considers the possibility that it had an incarnation even before that. Later evidence leads him to suspect that it may be the reincarnated consciousness of the Lord of the Desolate Void, which parasitized the Wordless Celestial Book after that being's fall. 655 685

Dimensional Incarnation

The Dimension Will exists as the living will of a dimension rather than as an ordinary lifeform.

• It identifies itself as an incarnation of the dimension and claims that defeat cannot permanently kill it. 601

Primeval Heaven Sacrifice Curse

The curse allows sacrifices on a vast scale but is constrained by the user's degree of control.

• The Dimension Will could theoretically use it to sacrifice away the negative spirituality within itself, but doing so would require complete self-control and hundreds of millions of years. 656

• Li Mu — Primary adversary. It rejected his proposed cooperation, declared it would hunt him alongside the Primeval Phoenix, later temporarily traveled with him against the Fate Sacred Ancestor, and ultimately attempted to corrupt him before Li Mu began devouring its Primordial Ancient Thought. 601 667 686

• Li Mu views the Dimension Root Fragments offered through the Abyss Will as a threat: if the Dimension Will revived, it could seize the Mirror Dimension through its superior control over dimensional roots. Li Mu dismantles and reorganizes the Mirror Dimension to prevent this. 534
• Li Mu uses the Primordial Altar, Dimensional Mirror, and a dimensional intersection to exile the Dimension Will's benevolent thought into the upper dimension. 586
