East of New York lay the Atlantic Ocean. Silver moonlight swirled around Diana as she walked upon the waves. The people along the shore and sailors aboard ships were stunned by the sight, falling to their knees to pray.

Diana ignored them and flew out beyond the coast, vanishing into layer upon layer of darkness.

Diana stood barefoot atop that dreamscape, her gauzy garments and long hair fluttering in the wind.

Her eyes were clear, her jade-like arms white as snow, and her calves exquisitely slender. There was not a single part of her that was not beautiful, yet Bai Jing's gaze ultimately settled on Diana's bare feet.

The skin on her feet was fair and nearly wrinkleless, possessing a crystalline quality. Her ten toes in particular were perfectly neat and evenly sized, their ten translucent nails like thin jade covering delicate, rounded, smooth, plump little toes.

"What are you looking at? Keep staring and I'll gouge your eyes out!" Diana snapped coldly. Bai Jing hurriedly came back to his senses, his expression turning awkward.

It felt like he had been caught peeping.

But on second thought, that was not right. She was the one who was not wearing shoes. Was he not even allowed to look?
