| Affiliation | Black Rose; temporary collaborator with Noxus |
| Occupation/Role | Leader of the Black Rose; manipulator and intelligence operative |
| Status | Active |
| First Appearance | Chapter 11 |
Appearance
LeBlanc’s appearance is deliberately unreliable: she operates through disguises, illusions, and clones. She has appeared as a black-haired maid, a white-haired woman, and a black-haired, black-eyed woman. 11 32 33
- Can imitate mundane identities convincingly enough to initially pass as Swain’s maid. 11
- Her true presence may be identified despite a disguise; Ling Ying recognizes her by scent. 33
- A clone accompanying the catacomb strike has no combat ability. 37
Personality
LeBlanc is calculating, theatrical, and openly manipulative. She frequently masks threats behind polite conversation, teasing remarks, or apparent indifference, whether negotiating with Swain, provoking Du Couteau, or coercing Ling Ying into service. 11 33 38
She treats alliances as tools rather than commitments. Although she assists Noxian operations when they suit the Black Rose’s interests, she explicitly distances herself from Noxian values and shows little concern for the people she uses. 33 37
Abilities & Skills
Illusions, Disguises, and Clones
LeBlanc can alter her appearance, vanish abruptly, and deploy a non-combat clone to relay intelligence and guide allies. 11 33 37
- Disguises herself as Swain’s maid during their discussion of the Black Storm Operation. 11
- Appears and disappears without warning in Ling Ying’s presence. 33
- Uses a clone to join the strike team entering the Gorgon Catacombs. 37
- Her clone is unable to fight and must be protected by the team. 37
Spatial Magic
LeBlanc creates magical gates and navigates locations inaccessible to conventional forces. 37
- Opens a gate from the battlefield ruins directly to the center of the underground palace. 37
- Provides intelligence on the Gorgon Catacombs and personally guides the strike team through them. 37
Shadow and Arcane Magic
LeBlanc employs magic for surveillance, restraint, and empowering allies against supernatural threats. 32 37
- Freezes Mother Spider before it can attack Ling Ying. 32
- Uses the reflection in a teacup to reveal an ethereal shadow-world image. 32
- Marks Ling Ying, Samira, and Katarina with a dark-red rune that lets them damage the Unfathomable Shadow’s body in the interstice. 37
- Creates Magic Mirrors, including one used to show Ling Ying the effects of Shadow Assimilation. 33
Political Manipulation
LeBlanc gathers intelligence, engineers crises, and pressures vulnerable individuals into serving her plans. 11 33
- Cooperates with Swain on the Black Storm Operation, which sought to use Shadow Magic Potions to guide Black Tide creatures toward Piltover’s fleet. 11
- Travels to Piltover to investigate the swordswoman connected to the Black Tide incident. 11
- Offers Ling Ying survival from Shadow Assimilation only in exchange for service. 33
- Sends Ling Ying to aid Noxian efforts against “old-era ghosts” and their kingdoms. 33
Relationships
- Swain — Rival and temporary ally during the Black Storm Operation; both recognize the competition underlying their cooperation. 11
- Ling Ying — Initially investigates her in Piltover, saves her from Mother Spider’s attack, then exploits her Shadow Assimilation to force a reluctant working arrangement. 32 33
- Elise — Associate involved in the Tyros Family operation; the two bicker, while LeBlanc treats Elise and Mother Spider as disposable instruments. 32
- Darius — Coordinates with him during the undead crisis and supplies the intelligence needed for the Gorgon Catacombs strike. 37
- Samira — Includes her in the catacomb strike team despite Samira’s disdain for LeBlanc’s magic. 37
- Katarina — Guides her toward Du Couteau and allows her to carry out the final killing blow. 37 38
- Du Couteau — An adversary with apparent prior history; LeBlanc taunts his pursuit of power and declares her intent to sever the Underworld’s influence. 36 38
Story Role / Major Arcs
Black Storm Operation
LeBlanc meets with Swain as the leader of the Black Rose to discuss their joint operation against Piltover. After the Black Tide fails to follow its intended course, she presents evidence that a purple-haired swordswoman may have disrupted the creatures and decides to investigate Piltover herself. 11
Tyros Family Incident
At the Tyros Family’s underground facility, LeBlanc and Elise are revealed as the figures behind the experiments. LeBlanc judges Ling Ying’s potential, prevents Mother Spider from killing her, and has Ling Ying taken away rather than allowing Elise to finish her. 32
Shadow Prisoner
After Ling Ying undergoes Shadow Assimilation, LeBlanc explains that her Void power has been suppressed and presents survival as conditional on obedience. She maintains Ling Ying with daily suppression injections, then recruits her for Noxian operations after a month of recovery. 33
Noxian Fortress and Undead Crisis
LeBlanc deploys Ling Ying with Noxian infiltrators to reactivate a teleportation gate, continuing to evaluate her usefulness. When Du Couteau’s undead forces threaten the fortress, LeBlanc arrives to assess the situation and identifies the Soulstone as the key to stopping the Underworld incursion. 34 36 37
Gorgon Catacombs
LeBlanc leads Ling Ying, Samira, and Katarina through a magic gate into the Gorgon Catacombs. She equips the group to fight the Unfathomable Shadow, guides them to Du Couteau, and dismisses his ambitions before Katarina kills him and Ling Ying destroys the escaping Soulstone. 37 38
After the Gate of the Underworld appears, LeBlanc pushes Ling Ying into it. Her motive remains undisclosed, though Ling Ying concludes that the act was purposeful rather than impulsive. 38 39

“I am not an illusion here; this is a clone. It takes a lot of effort to operate.” 37
“Using the power of the underworld always comes with a price, Lord General, and that price is often far more expensive than what you gain.” 38
