Just then, the four Yordles, who had been briefly knocked unconscious by the fall, woke up one after another.
Tristana rubbed her eyes, trying to make out her surroundings, but was knocked down by Lulu beneath her, tumbling to the ground.
"Ouch!" Tristana's voice was crisp. Gritting her teeth and rubbing her backside, she said, "I don't even need to think to know it's you, Purple-skinned Garlic!"
Ato noticed Ryze in the crowd silently retreat a few steps, unnaturally touching his nose.
"Who are you calling Purple-skinned Garlic?" Lulu stood on Kog'Maw, hands on her hips.
"If Teemo hadn't gotten lost and set our landing point in the middle of the ocean, and in our panic we only managed to lock onto one ship, we would have already reached Ionia!"
"Uh, can you get off me first?" the bearded Kog'Maw said weakly.
"Wuuu..." Teemo, at the very bottom, could no longer speak.
Are all Yordles this noisy?
Sarah knew Yordles existed and that they did strange things, but she had never imagined they had such personalities.
"Wait, Lulu," Tristana finally called her name correctly, "these people are..."
"Wow! Pirates! This is a pirate ship! This is all Teemo's fault!"
Lulu became a little flustered, quickly jumping onto the deck to stand next to Tristana. She held a wooden staff as tall as herself in her small hands, waving it around in an attempt to create a show of force.
"It's pirates!" Kog'Maw shot up. "Leave it to the Ace Pilot to handle! Wait, let me find my aircraft first..."
"Wuuu..." Teemo beneath Kog'Maw was once again subjected to torment.
Sarah and the others silently watched the four Yordles put on a show, a single thought occurring to them all: When would they ever quiet down? They couldn't get a word in!
Ato thought even more maliciously, what would happen if you locked those four in a room with Aatrox?
"Hey! It's Purple-skinned Baldy!" Tristana spotted Ryze hiding in the crowd. "Hey, Purple-skinned Baldy! Were you captured by pirates too?"
Everyone quickly made way. They had witnessed Ryze's power and didn't want Ryze to misunderstand that they were captives!
"We meet again, Ryze!"
Lulu was also very happy to see Ryze. She waved her staff at him, then seemed to remember something and used the momentum to knock Tristana on the forehead.
"Ouch!" Tristana clutched her head. "Purple-skinned Garlic! Why did you hit me?"
"Use your brain!" Lulu's disdainful gaze was as if she were looking at someone with an intellectual disability. "How could Ryze possibly be captured by pirates? Are there any pirates in the world who could capture Ryze?"
The Crewmates moved even farther away.
"I knew it would be troublesome... but this is an interesting scene."
Ato was in a great mood. Being able to see real people and hear unexpected conversations in this world made him feel exceptionally satisfied.
"It's good to see you all again..."
Ryze shook his head, it was unclear if he was truly happy. He crouched down in front of the four of them and ruffled Tristana and Lulu's heads.
"Ah... not again! Can you please not pat our heads? My mage hat won't stay on!" Lulu puffed out her cheeks, looking exceptionally cute.
"It's quite nostalgic!" Tristana grinned, not minding Ryze's actions at all.
"Hello... and Kog'Maw, Teemo, hello. The last time I saw you was a hundred years ago in real-world time."
"A hundred years? How long is a hundred years? Can I play for a hundred years in reality?"
"How many places can we visit in a hundred years? How many strange people can we meet? How much food we've never seen can we eat?"
Lulu and Tristana chattered incessantly, clinging to Ryze, making everyone else break out in a cold sweat.
Taking advantage of this, Sarah quietly asked Ato, "Why did Mr. Ryze emphasize real-world time? Aren't the Yordles from the real world?"
Ato explained, "They live in Bandle City. This place doesn't exist in the real world, but sometimes humans wander in there by mistake."
"Only a very small number of these people can ever get out again. The information we know about Bandle City was spread by these survivors."
"Everything seen in the city is colorful, the taste of food and water is intoxicating for years, the sunlight is warm, the spring water flows endlessly, and every plant bears abundant fruit. No one knows if this is true or false."
"Where is Bandle City? Is their time different from ours?" Sarah asked the most crucial question.
"That's right, the flow of time in Bandle City is not the same as ours, but neither humans who wander into Bandle City nor the Yordles themselves can feel it."
"As for its location, I can't be sure, but I suspect it's in the Spiritual Realm."
"It sounds like a nice place. I hope I get a chance to see it," Sarah sighed, "Of course, that's after my revenge on Gangplank is successful..."
"Hmm? Little thing, you really don't know something? Hahahaha~" Aatrox suddenly let out a strange laugh, "So you're not omnipotent after all. I finally feel balanced psychologically..."
"Ah, big monster!" Lulu pointed with her small hand, discovering the terrifying Demonic Sword of the Dark.
"Eek, so scary!" The four little ones immediately hugged Ryze's legs in pairs, making him sigh helplessly.
"Ryze, beat him up!" Tristana clenched her small fists, cheering Ryze on.
"Don't be nervous, he's our companion," Ryze said with a bitter expression, trying to change the subject.
"You're all going to Ionia too, right? We can travel together for this stretch, but you can't follow me after we disembark. I have something very important to do."
"You're going to Ionia too!" Their attention was indeed captured.
How can they be so carefree! Ato thought to himself. What if I were actually a bad guy?
"Sorry, Madam Sarah, can you take these four along? I'll pay for their passage, including any damage they cause on the ship..."
Ato held back a laugh as he looked at Ryze's expression.
Why did things get so weird whenever Yordles were involved? Was it a rule that comedic characters had to have absurd combat power?
Well, if you were favored by Runeterra, you could pretty much do whatever you wanted.
Sarah agreed without a second thought. There was plenty of space on the ship, and the Yordles were small...
"Thank you for your generosity. When we disembark, you can take stock of anything missing or damaged on the ship, and I will compensate you at the original price. I've traveled the continent for many years and have accumulated some wealth," Ryze said, bowing slightly.
"Actually, it's a coincidence that the Little Ones are also heading to Ionia," Sarah waved her hand, but a bad feeling suddenly welled up in her heart...
Could they really cause some huge trouble for me?
