Akasaka arrived at the library.
As expected, that familiar head of silvery-white hair came into view.
As usual, the girl sat in her familiar seat, reading a book titled Sherlock Holmes's Record.
Akasaka walked up to her.
The girl seemed a little upset. She kept her eyes on her book, ignoring Akasaka.
Akasaka sat down across from Shiina and said half-jokingly,
"Yo! The library NPC has respawned."
Shiina closed her book and replied, puffing her cheeks out a little,
"It's awful to treat someone like an NPC, Akasaka."
Seeing that Shiina had finally acknowledged him, Akasaka had achieved his goal. He apologized,
"Sorry for making such a mess of your Class C this time. I did hold back..."
Akasaka trailed off.
Shiina hid her face behind her book and rolled her eyes prettily.
"I did feel that you held back. Thank you for giving up those 10,000,000 Personal Points and leaving Class C a way out."
Faced with Shiina's sarcastic remarks, Akasaka felt a little awkward.
