Akasaka finally gathered his courage, walked up, and knocked on the door.
Mahiru came to the door with the child in her arms and opened it, her face once again returning to its usual coldness.
"You came..."
Akasaka forced a bitter smile. "Could I not come?" He then shifted his gaze to the child in Mahiru's arms. "Can I hold her? Hold my child."
"You can hold her after you've completely cut things off with the other girls."
"Don't push me..." Akasaka truly felt like his head was about to split in two.
Asuna and Suguha would be easier to deal with, but the woman before him was not so easy to handle.
Because she was the woman he loved most, and also the first wife he had married. Her significance was obviously different, and she was not easy to placate.
