The Kingdom of the Sun God seemed exceptionally lively today.
Sasrir, the Right Hand of God, had summoned all the angels, naturally including the Angel of Dreams.
What is going on? The Angel of Dreams, Truman, arrived at an ultra-large sacrificial square capable of holding tens of thousands of believers. In the center of the square stood a statue of the Creator.
It bore the exact likeness of the Ancient Sun God, yet beyond the blazing sun and the shadows of the veil, this statue also possessed the powers of storms, the mind, and knowledge.
This was a statue of the true Creator, pointing toward that omniscient and omnipotent God Almighty. Yet, the Ancient Sun God, who currently occupied the Chaos Sea, had completely usurped this title.
Furthermore, at the end of the War of the Deities, the Ancient Sun God had appeared in this very form. Under the radiance of that sun, the entire world had gained a multitude of believers in the Creator.
"The Kingdom of God shall descend upon the mortal realm," Sasrir announced the oracle to all the believers with a solemn expression.
"The Lord cannot bear to see all living things suffer; He shall merge the Heavenly Kingdom into the mortal realm to save all spirits!"
No sooner had Sasrir finished speaking than the sky of the Heavenly Kingdom suddenly revealed the true starry sky, and the entire Heavenly Kingdom manifested within the endless Astral World.
Stars twinkled, and the sunlight dispelled all darkness as the Kingdom of God began to manifest in the mortal world.
To the eyes of those in the real world, it was a miracle of the Creator.
A Kingdom of God, cradled by a light and shadow that filled the entire Astral World, descended upon the mortal realm. In an instant, it spanned an endless distance, arriving above a continent, hovering a mere hundred meters from the ground.
Like the City of Miracles, it hung suspended in mid-air.
Sunlight cascaded down, transforming into a path of light that connected the Kingdom of God to the continent.
"Go forth and spread the Lord's radiance to every corner of the world!" Sasrir looked toward the believers gathered in the sacrificial square.
These were all missionaries, and there were even quite a few bards among them—the perfect candidates for proselytizing!
"You are to provide escort for the believers," Sasrir said, looking toward the Five Great Angels.
"Yes!" Medici and the others nodded solemnly. In this era, missionary work was not merely about smooth talk.
They, the angels under His command, were required to manifest "miracles," much like the one Truman had performed previously.
"I choose this direction." Truman looked toward a long line of missionaries; these missionaries were all headed toward the current gathering places of humanity.
Truman felt a faint intuition regarding this direction; he felt he would make a discovery.
He approached the team of missionaries and personally led them forward.
He manifested a miracle—Angel Wings. Twelve illusory wings seemed to condense behind his back, flapping gently and scattering radiance. It shielded the group of missionaries, the light dispelling all monsters and purifying the hearts of countless people.
Before long, Truman had brought these missionaries to their destination.
"It really is you, Hermes." Truman chuckled and nodded.
"This is the angel of dreams, he is the true prophet of our humanity! The source of all knowledge!" Hermes sensed an exceptionally holy aura approaching and was already preparing to retreat within the city-state.
Seeing Truman now, he was overcome with joy.
"Is this the result of your efforts during this time?" Truman looked past Hermes and saw a group of young men and women. In Truman's perception, all of them were beyonder.
In the current world, the concentration of beyonder characteristic was severe. One could basically encounter many beyonder creature just by walking around the periphery of those ancient god kingdoms.
With a saint like Hermes present, it was very easy for these people to obtain characteristics.
This was likely the first batch of beyonder in human history to promote using potions autonomously, without relying on bestowment. They were the true hope of humanity!
Hermes's expression turned serious. "No, these are your results!"
"If not for you, I would never have been able to obtain this knowledge."
Truman shook his head slightly, but Hermes still insisted on identifying himself as a follower.
Truman looked at the men and women. There were twenty-two of them, and they were from various pathways?
They were also the pioneers of the human beyonder path.
He turned to look at the missionary behind him. "You may go in first."
Hermes's expression changed, but in the end, he did not attempt to stop them.
"Humans, especially humans of this era, need to have faith." Truman saw through Hermes's thoughts and shook his head slightly.
Hermes lived in an era where ancient gods were cruel and violent; he had witnessed countless disasters caused by the brutality of the ancient gods. It was psychologically impossible for him to truly believe in any god.
But for humanity, having faith was not a bad thing, especially when angels and gods also needed humans as "anchors" to stabilize themselves.
In such a situation, believing in a certain deity would result in genuine protection.
This was very important for the currently weak humanity.
"Fellow kin, are you interested in learning about the savior of the world, the creator who created and dominates everything?"
"He created the world and saved the world. He awoke from chaos to shelter us, his creations, once again."
"Under his throne are six great angels, who are..."
As those missionary entered the large city-state, they spoke to everyone they met about the miracle created by the creator. The war of the ancient gods had not passed for too long, and the helpless fear from that time was deeply imprinted in the hearts of all humans at this moment.
And the sun god's act of protecting the entire world and sheltering all living things was a massive point in his favor.
Even those who had once held other faiths would not harbor ill will toward such an existence.
In this way, this missionary work would basically encounter no problems.
"Is it that existence?" Hermes' expression softened significantly upon hearing it was the faith of the creator.
Truman withdrew his gaze. He didn't need to concern himself with the proselytizing; it was enough for him to maintain the mystery and power of an angel here.
He refocused his attention on those human beyonder who were already at sequence nine.
"Would you like to believe in the dream? It doesn't cost anything anyway, just believe a little bit." Suddenly, Truman took out the ordinary-looking book of dreams.
"If you have other objects of faith in the future, that is fine too. I will not blame you."
"And everyone who believes in me will be able to walk further on the sequence pathway."
Truman made the honorific name, accompanied by phonetic annotations in the giant language, resonate within the hearts of these young beyonder.
These young people all looked toward Hermes, waiting for him to make the decision.
"May I also believe in you?" Hermes asked a question that left Truman astonished.
"...Of course you may." Truman nodded gently.
"Very well!" Hermes led the twenty-odd young people and began to chant the honorific name of the angel of dreams aloud.
"Spirit of truth..."
The next moment, Truman felt a strange connection form between himself and the people before him, with Hermes' faith being particularly prominent among them.
"My believers shall not be disturbed by madness, and shall ultimately return to the dream."
It was not Truman who spoke, but his statue in the kingdom of the creator. Truman had solidified quite a few functions, such as automatic responses, onto it, allowing it to mobilize the power of the book of dreams to handle daily responses to believers.
