Truman's eyes landed on that handsome man, and for a moment he was even a little dazzled—he could only say the guy was slightly better-looking than himself!
"What would happen if someone like that drank the Witch potion? Too bad I won't get to see it."
In Truman's mind, the Robe of the Sage had already parsed out a piece of information, and he recognized this angel as well.
[Angel of Fate: Ouroboros]
Just that single piece of information, and even that was something Truman already knew.
In the vision granted by his own Book of Dreams, this Angel of Fate was entirely shrouded in a thick shadow; behind that Curtain of Shadows lay an ocean whose color defied description.
He was favored by some existence of extremely high Sequence Status.
"Dangerous!"
For the first time, Truman sensed a heavy crisis—the thing behind that shadow could have a terrifying impact on his very existence!
"The threat level is about the same as Eternal Slumber..."
"Chaos Sea... Sefirah can't be touched!" Truman formed that understanding.
As if sensing Truman's will, the Book of Dreams opened on its own, and Dream Phosphor spilled out, about to collide with that thick shadow!
"Stop!" At that moment, the figure hidden behind that shadow was almost reflected in Truman's eyes.
Under Truman's will, the Dream Phosphor transformed into multicolored butterflies, turning into a brilliant radiance like a dream stepping into reality.
Fortunately, the other party also suppressed that somewhat restless power, refusing to let the sea that seemed to hold all secrets pour forth.
The two didn't clash in a way that could be called a Sefirah collision, but that power still rippled outward.
"Damn it!" Truman couldn't predict such an outcome either, and he could already feel a gaze cast upon him.
That gaze carried a hint of ferocity and madness—after all, the Giant Race were no pushovers, and with him causing trouble here, the result was predictable.
"It should be the Goddess of Harvest, Omebella," a thought flashed through Truman's mind.
This was Her kingdom; stirring up the aura of a Sefirah here naturally caught Her attention. She was casting Her gaze here in the manner of answering a believer's prayer, and She wasn't even far from this place!
Before Truman could react, he felt every blade of grass turn hostile toward him. The entire land seemed to change, beginning to loathe him, reject him, as if it wanted to become the grave that buried him.
Even his own body began to mutate—his hair started to dry out, withering like a plant about to perish.
Truman's form flickered, turning ethereal, dissolving into a torrent of vast knowledge, transforming into an Information Torrent.
"Hey! What are you spacing out for? Let's go!"
Truman glanced at Ouroboros, who still hadn't snapped out of the impact of the Chaos Sea's power, then grabbed the startled Hermes and teleported to Ouroboros's side. The three of them began to drift, about to jump into the Spirit World.
But before Truman and the other two—one angel—could even step into the Spirit World, they were blocked by a patch of wildly growing plants.
"Mystery Reappearance, Emperor's New Clothes!"
In a flash, the hem of Truman's robe fluttered up, and an invisible cloak, built purely from knowledge, draped over Truman and the others.
They seemed to vanish, yet truly existed, drifting lightly past those plants.
The three began drifting again, entering the Spirit World.
Both pathways contained in the Gloves of the Ancient held privileges in the Spirit World, so they no longer feared Omebella. Of course, this whole fight was an accident, not part of the plan—Truman decided to pull out quickly.
Without hesitation, Truman was about to fully escape the battlefield when a patch of decaying twilight blocked his path.
Great. Now the Giant King, sensing the Sefirah's aura, had also cast His gaze here.
As for the gap between a True God and Sequence 2, one could refer to how the Death Consul was nearly "killed by a glance" from the Blood Emperor in later ages.
"Go ahead, take a look at me!" Truman had already roughly judged the Sequence Status of the Book of Dreams, so he raised it directly, wanting the Giant King to take a look—preferably letting the Dream Phosphor land on Him!
If the Chaos Sea could pollute the Dragon of Imagination, there was no reason his Book of Dreams couldn't!
"Let there be light!"
A clear, magnetic voice rang out beside Truman, making him lower the Book of Dreams in his hand.
A god had stepped in, so he didn't need to bother.
The sun blazed in the endlessly high Astral World, its scorching light tearing apart the decaying twilight.
"Roar!" A terrifying roar shook the entire Spirit World.
But under that blazing sunlight, the decaying twilight seemed far too chaotic and disordered to break through the sun's blockade.
"Let's go!" Truman looked back and saw a terrifying giant's phantom. It held a greatsword, wore a battered suit of armor, its true face hidden, with a thin twilight behind it.
This was the Giant King, Almir!
So this is an Ancient God! Truman had never imagined he'd get to see this one—all of this stemmed from the unforeseen clash between the Chaos Sea and the Book of Dreams.
"Could the Book of Dreams really be some Sefirah? But I've never heard of it!" Truman fretted as the drifting completed.
Guided by a deliberate hand and the interference of fate from the now-awakened Ouroboros, they arrived in an unfamiliar kingdom, an unfamiliar church.
Before him was a man like the sun. He wore a white clerical robe, with a silver cross hanging from his chest.
The first thing Truman saw was his eyes—pure gold, like a miniature sun.
This was naturally the current Sun God, who in later ages would be crowned with the word "Ancient."
Of course, by now he might already be calling himself the Creator.
"Who are you." Truman and the Ancient Sun God spoke at the same time, both of their gazes fixed on each other.
But the next moment, both of them very consciously closed their eyes and turned their heads away.
In that instant, what Truman saw was that dim, murky sea that seemed to contain all the secrets of the world, while the Ancient Sun God saw a brilliant, shimmering Dream Phosphor that held all the beautiful wishes of the world.
Both things were worth exploring, but both of them also sensed the danger at the same time, turning their heads away to cut off some kind of mystical convergence.
Otherwise, a scene like that clash of Sefirah would happen again.
"You may call me the Sun God." The Ancient Sun God looked over again, but the probing intent was gone, merely ordinary.
"My name is Truman." The phosphorescent light in Truman's eyes had also dimmed somewhat.
"Truman?" The Ancient Sun God was slightly taken aback, pronouncing the name in a way that didn't belong to this era, "truemen?"
"Let there be light?" Truman said, echoing the Ancient Sun God's earlier words.
As expected, the Ancient Sun God's attitude shifted slightly.
The atmosphere between them also underwent some subtle, indescribable change.
Mm... probably for the better.
