Located in the rift between timelines.
Two Whises stood there.
One was Whis from Kairos's timeline, the instigator who had helped bring this about.
He had to come and witness the changes Kairos would make after arriving in this timeline, and bear some of the consequences as well.
The other was naturally Whis of this timeline. He was deeply troubled, almost on the verge of tears.
He naturally knew what his counterpart from another timeline intended to do, but this approach truly violated the Universal Law.
It would not have much effect on the other timeline, but it would affect the timeline he belonged to. It might even give rise to multiple uncertain future parallel timelines.
"Such a hassle. Are you really so certain that he will be the one to break the deadlock?" Whis of this timeline asked as he watched every word and movement Kairos made within the light screen before them.
They were originally the same person. Though they existed in two different timelines, once they met, their information could be synchronized.
"Why ask when you already know? You should be well aware of how special he is. He exists only in my parallel timeline." Whis from Kairos's timeline narrowed his eyes and smiled.
"That is true, but every parallel timeline will, more or less, give birth to some unusual special lifeforms. Since they are parallel timelines, there will naturally be differences. But that exception alone is not enough! If Father learns of this, it may lead to something even greater. More importantly, this timeline's original course has been altered. You know the consequences." Whis of this timeline replied.
Whis from Kairos's timeline did not answer immediately. The corners of his lips curled into another smile.
