Arriving on Earth

Three days later.

After more than three months of travel, the Spaceship piloted by Kairos finally entered the Solar System without incident.

With his destination close at hand, the Spaceship gradually slowed down, eventually disengaging from its high-speed travel mode.

It finally came to a stop outside the atmosphere of a blue planet.

Through the observation window at the front of the Spaceship, Kairos saw the planet in its entirety. Amid the endless darkness of space, it was dazzlingly bright.

So this was Earth in this world!

Although it differed greatly from the Earth of his previous life, compared to the images he had seen, it was still over sixty or seventy percent similar.

Simply put, Earth might be small, but it was beautiful!

Considering all the planets he had seen since coming to this world, Earth truly was unlike any of the others.

Kairos had delivered supplies to quite a few planets, yet he had seen few that could compare to Earth's beauty.

Of course, what he considered beautiful might have been very different from what others considered beautiful.

After his moment of reflection, Kairos activated the Eye of Insight to observe it.

This was also the first time he had used the Eye of Insight's talent to observe an entire planet from outer space.

Even though his target this time was Earth, he could barely endure the strain.

Earth as seen through the Eye of Insight was entirely different from what he saw with his naked eye.

To the naked eye, the blue planet was simply beautiful, with nothing particularly remarkable about it.

But beneath the Eye of Insight, Earth became a kaleidoscope of colors.

Countless points of light were scattered across the planet, while endless cosmic energy gathered around it, merging with a special energy emitted by Earth itself.

If Kairos's guess was correct, then that pale blue energy might have been the life force possessed by Earth itself.

It could also be called Natural Energy, or perhaps Ki!

His mental strength was rapidly draining away. Sensing this, Kairos decisively deactivated the Eye of Insight and stopped observing Earth.

"I wonder whether other planets are the same as Earth. I'll have to find a chance to verify it later," Kairos murmured, quickly pulling himself together and no longer dwelling on it.

Then he spoke to himself again. "The tedious journey through space is over. Next, it's time to officially enter Earth! First, let me sense where the strongest presences on Earth are..."

He had spent three days adjusting himself to peak condition.

A long journey through space would truly drive someone mad from the sheer boredom and inability to do anything, if they did not enter hibernation.

Now that he had taken in the full view of Earth, he could no longer wait to land.

He released his aura and fully unleashed his senses, spreading them across Earth like an invisible web.

In just moments, countless auras appeared within Kairos's perception. They were all extremely weak, so numerous that they were nearly impossible to count.

Kairos would never have been capable of this before.

After more than three months of training his Ki, even though his proficiency was still at the beginner stage, he was far beyond what he had been three months ago.

Under these circumstances, finding even slightly stronger auras among the countless trillions of life signatures was indeed incredibly difficult.

Although he could sense some somewhat stronger individuals, the area was simply too vast for him to be absolutely certain who any particular aura belonged to.

It was even difficult to determine where Master Roshi was.

After all, Master Roshi could also suppress his aura. He would not just flare it up at every turn.

Furthermore, in this era's Earth, there were still quite a few monstrous beasts with high battle power.

Now I understand why, during the Majin Buu Saga, Son Goku wanted to stop Bulma from summoning Shenron to Make a Wish, but couldn't use Instant Transmission to get there immediately because he couldn't sense Bulma's aura in such a short time. No matter who it was, they wouldn't be able to do it... Without experiencing it firsthand, one could not truly understand.

Back then, he had thought it was merely required by the plot.

Son Goku had trained his Ki to such a level, yet it was still like trying to find a single grain of rice in an enormous sack of rice.

Fortunately, Kairos could now freely control and narrow the range of his aura perception, sensing only the powerful presences high above Earth.

After all, Kami's Lookout was located high in Earth's sky, and according to the original setting, no other lifeforms could exist in Earth's upper atmosphere besides Kami and Mr. Popo.

In less than a minute, he sensed two unusual auras.

They were indeed vastly more powerful than all the auras he had sensed before.

Only with a clear comparison could he perceive the gap. If he expanded his sensing range again, he would not lose track of those two powerful auras, but locating them among a mass of other auras would still be somewhat difficult.

So in the early stages, aura sensing really was far less practical than a Scouter.

With calculations, one could directly reach a conclusion.

There was no need to judge for oneself.

At the very least, by searching for powerful energy signatures, he could quickly locate them.

Just like when Raditz had first arrived on Earth, the Scouter could directly lock onto Piccolo and Kakarot's locations.

Piloting the Spaceship, Kairos chose manual controls.

"I can't wait to see the looks on your faces. Earth, here I come!"

The Spaceship entered Earth's atmosphere and headed straight for the source of those two powerful energy signatures.

At this moment, on Kami's Lookout, Kami Piccolo and Mr. Popo stood anxiously on the vast platform, gazing into outer space.

The atmosphere had long since grown grave to the extreme.

Unease, palpitations, fear... and dread of the unknown.

As for curiosity, there was none at all.

Because the gap in strength was simply too great.

For Kami Piccolo, as Earth's Kami, this was the first time in centuries that he had felt this way.

"That terrifying presence seems to be heading directly toward us, Lord Kami," Mr. Popo said worriedly from beside him.

Kami Piccolo nodded solemnly. "Yes. I just don't know what this outsider's purpose in coming to Earth is."

His attainments in the cultivation of ki were not low. The moment he noticed his energy had been locked onto, he knew what would happen next.

As Earth's Kami, its guardian, and currently its strongest fighter, no matter whether the visitor was friend or foe, or what their purpose was, he had to step forward.
