Kami's Lookout, Piccolo, and Mr. Popo

The spaceship pierced through Earth's atmosphere, streaking across the sky in a dazzling trail of light.

Before long, the spaceship arrived above Kami's Lookout. After confirming the landing site, it descended onto the empty platform.

Kami Piccolo and Mr. Popo exchanged glances before immediately raising their guard.

Their senses told them that the being radiating an incomparably terrifying aura was inside that strangely shaped disc-like object.

They had never seen a spaceship before, nor did they have any concept of one.

After all, although Earth's technology was developing rapidly in this era, it had yet to reach a particularly advanced level.

Even if they had the ability to build a spaceship, ordinary people would never think of exploring the universe.

In the original story, it was only when Raditz arrived on Earth that the plot was suddenly pushed into the era of the greater universe, letting people learn of spaceship-like tools for interstellar travel.

It was not until the end of the Vegeta arc, when they needed to travel to Planet Namek, that Mr. Popo took Bulma to find the spaceship Piccolo had arrived in long ago.

At first, they had no idea it was a spaceship at all.

Later, after obtaining that spaceship, along with the wreckage of the spaceship the Saiyans had arrived in, Earth's spacefaring technology made a tremendous leap forward under Briefs's hands.

Come to think of it, these later additions to patch up the setting really did have quite a few holes.

For example, Piccolo knew the Namekian language. Otherwise, Mr. Popo could never have learned it through Kami Piccolo's teachings.

Since he knew the Namekian language and could operate a Namekian spaceship, logically, he should not have been unaware that he was a Namekian.

Moreover, Kami Piccolo possessed the authority to visit King Yemma in Other World, so it was even more impossible for him not to know what race he belonged to.

Yet the truth was that he genuinely did not know.

It was only when Nappa and Vegeta came to Earth and revealed that Piccolo was a Namekian that Kami Piccolo realized he, too, was an alien.

Back to the matter at hand.

As the spaceship came to a stop and its engines shut down, the hatch slowly opened.

Kairos could not wait to walk down the stairs extending from the spaceship's hatch.

Breathing in Earth's air—especially the isolated, celestial atmosphere of Kami's Lookout—while feeling the warmth of sunlight on his skin, all the negative energy that had accumulated in his body was swept away at once.

After all, he had spent more than three months in such a cramped place.

Even if he could move around, it was no different from being trapped in a cage.

"Having my feet on solid ground really does feel different." After taking in the atmosphere of the place and standing outside the spaceship on Kami's Lookout, Kairos could not help but sigh.

Although he was not truly standing on the ground yet, as long as he was outside the spaceship, anywhere he stood felt like solid ground to Kairos.

Most importantly, his appearance was human! He looked like an Earthling!

Kami Piccolo's eyes widened, filled with confusion and bewilderment.

Mr. Popo was equally stunned. He even scratched his head suspiciously.

Kairos had naturally noticed Kami Piccolo and Mr. Popo watching him long ago. He simply had not paid them any attention at first.

Only now did Kairos look at the two of them with a smile.

He roughly understood that they must have sensed his aura and were shocked because he was only a child.

The corners of his lips curled slightly. Kairos had already prepared his explanation, and he said to Kami Piccolo and Mr. Popo, "Hello. Let me introduce myself. My name is Kairos, a Saiyan from Planet Vegeta. I came to Earth for certain reasons and plan to settle here from now on."

Saiyan?

He planned to settle on Earth?

When he received no response from Kami Piccolo or Mr. Popo, Kairos gave them plenty of time to react.

Putting himself in their shoes, if he were Kami Piccolo or Mr. Popo and an alien suddenly said he intended to settle on Earth, he would be stunned too, right?

Kami Piccolo immediately came to his senses. After clearing his throat twice, he said, "Welcome, guest... from Planet Vegeta. I am Earth's Kami. You may call me... Piccolo. This is Mr. Popo, my personal attendant."

There was a trace of hesitation in his tone. Kami Piccolo had never imagined that one day, he would need to introduce himself like this to an outsider.

Hearing Kami Piccolo's words, Kairos gave a token nod.

Then, instead of continuing the conversation, he raised a hand toward the Spaceship and swept it through the air, storing the Spaceship inside the System Space.

That move once again shocked Kami Piccolo and Mr. Popo.

Although spatial storage items like Hoi-Poi Capsules had already become popular on Earth, Kairos had made the object vanish directly.

For Kairos, confirming that the Spaceship could be stored in the System Space also made him breathe a sigh of relief.

He had tested storing other items in the System Space before, but he had not known whether a Spaceship would work.

No matter what, at this stage, this Spaceship was his only means of traveling through the universe, so he would not feel at ease leaving it anywhere.

Now that it could be stored in the System Space, those concerns were gone. With a single thought, he could take it out whenever he wanted.

Facing Kami Piccolo and Mr. Popo again, Kairos finally spoke.

"Earth's Kami is actually a Namekian. That's quite unexpected."

His words were startling, yet Kairos wore a faint smile, as though he had merely said something unimportant.

Over the past few days, this was the best and most direct way Kairos had come up with to begin building a relationship.

Reveal the other party's identity, then completely pull them into his rhythm.

More importantly, by revealing that Kami Piccolo was a Namekian, he could bring up the Dragon Balls.

Now that he had come to Earth, how could he possibly pass up the chance to gather the Dragon Balls, summon Shenron, and Make a Wish?

Of course, he could also use absolute force to suppress them. Even if they wondered how he knew so much about Earth, he could simply refuse to explain or answer.

But then, they would become completely hostile toward him.

He had come with goodwill, so they could talk things over properly first.
