Tragedy?!

(There are two things I've been forgetting to mention. First, what happened when the protagonist escaped from Broly... and second, Bardock's ability to see the future... I'll explain both later in the story, so please don't get the wrong idea, everyone.)

"Whoosh!!"

When their auras collided, the heavens and earth changed color... Sand and stones flew everywhere, and even the birds grew uneasy, taking flight one after another. At the same time, in the next instant... the red-haired woman and a light-green-haired woman among the seven opponents suddenly vanished.

"Not bad speed... but why do I keep feeling like something's off about you?"

"Bam!"

Betkas carefully scanned his surroundings with his eyes and immediately spotted the two women flying in from either side, kicking at him. He didn't panic. He merely leaned to the side, grabbed both women by the ankles, and spoke with a trace of killing intent...

"What the hell is going on with this guy?!"

The stern, dark-blue-haired man who had spoken to Betkas earlier looked somewhat shocked... He had clearly sensed that Betkas's strength was roughly on par with theirs, but the situation seemed completely one-sided. It was as if they weren't facing an opponent of the same level at all...

Judging by Betkas's lightning-fast strikes, incredible reflexes, terrifying attack power, and flawless rhythm... this guy was definitely no pushover...

"Sure, men all love beautiful women... but I'm not interested. A bastard who deserves to die still has to die... Holding back isn't my style!"

Betkas looked at the two struggling women, the corner of his mouth curling into a cruel smile... He abruptly hurled them both forward with all his strength, then thrust out his right index finger and shouted, "Die!!"

"Look out! Aierli, Sahueke!"

Betkas fired the same golden beam as before, sending it straight toward the two women, who were piled one on top of the other... He seemed to be aiming to kill two birds with one stone... and he wasn't holding back at all...

The other five couldn't sit still any longer. They cried out in alarm and immediately rushed forward, seemingly trying to save the two women...

"Pfft!"

"Smack!"

The next second... another body, its heart pierced by a gaping hole, collapsed to the ground. Blood gushed out at once, staining the earth red...

"What? I only managed to take out one?"

Betkas watched this and muttered, clearly displeased... The woman who had died with her heart pierced was the red-haired one who had spoken earlier. But before dying, she had shoved the light-green-haired woman some distance away... So although Betkas's golden beam pierced the red-haired woman's body, it only grazed the light-green-haired woman's arm...

"Mm!"

"Smack!!"

Suddenly... in the instant Betkas let his guard down, the dark-blue-haired man appeared in front of him and swept a leg across, kicking him in the left cheek and sending him flying...

The dark-blue-haired man seemed furious. He surged with powerful energy again and immediately chased after him...

"This guy's the real expert!"

As he flew backward, Betkas watched the dark-blue-haired man pursue him... He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and spoke...

The moment the dark-blue-haired man drew near, he thrust out his right hand and held it in front of Betkas. A blue Ki Blast shot straight at him...

"Tch!!"

Betkas knew he couldn't dodge it, so he could only take the hit head-on. He crossed his arms in front of his chest, bending them into an X... The blue Ki Blast slammed into his arms...

"Rumble!"

A tremendous explosion rang out, and a circular shockwave of energy expanded without end, ravaging the surrounding terrain and unleashing a fierce gale...

Sand and stones kept striking the dark-blue-haired man's face, but he paid them no mind. Instead, he watched the scene ahead with a serious expression...

"You're quite something... You really were hiding your strength just now. Your battle power is actually 16,000. You sure surprised me..."

When everything settled... Betkas's relaxed voice rang out. A battered figure slowly emerged from the smoke... It was Betkas. His Battle Armor was now in tatters, and he had a few wounds on his body, but they were only minor...

"Did losing two of your companions finally make you stop holding back?"

Betkas spoke to the dark-blue-haired man again with a smile... But to the five people facing him, that smile seemed somewhat mocking...

"Saiyan... You're certainly strong, but no matter how strong you are, you can't beat all of us..."

The dark-blue-haired man spoke in a serious tone...

"Oh? With skills as pathetic as yours? Or are you planning to take turns and gang up on me?"

Betkas sneered at the dark-blue-haired man...

"Jilake, Huilaer, Misike, Aermasi, Aierli! Use that move! Today, we'll make this Saiyan feel our wrath!"

The dark-blue-haired man shouted to the five behind him... All five, including the light-green-haired woman who had narrowly survived, nodded in unison. The dark-blue-haired man then moved to the middle of the five, and the six lined up in a row...

The six then spaced themselves out, apparently splitting into three pairs. Each pair stood about ten meters apart, and the two people in each pair stood about five meters from each other...

"What are these guys planning?!"

Betkas watched them, puzzled... Suddenly, he had a bad feeling...

At the very next moment... the members of each pair simultaneously performed a strange, symmetrical dance, then each extended a hand and touched index fingers...

"Isn't that damn Fusion?!!!! Holy shit!!"

Watching their movements, Betkas became frantic... He immediately fired several Ki Blasts in rapid succession, bombarding them without a second thought...

"Fuu—sion!"

Amid the barrage of Ki Blasts, Betkas could still clearly hear the words spoken through the explosions...

Three enormous auras erupted at once, and the released energy blew away the smoke drifting around them... Three distinctive, handsome and beautiful figures appeared before Betkas, each wearing a small vest like the ones the others had worn, along with white pants...

"This is... kind of a tragedy..."

Watching the three appear, Betkas gave a rueful smile...
