History

Conflict over Bibi Dong

After Bibi Dong emerged from Slaughter City, Qian Daoliu and Qian Xunji debated how to contain the scandal surrounding her and Qian Renxue. Qian Daoliu feared that Bibi Dong might endanger the Qian Family's reputation or become an obstacle in Qian Renxue's Angel God Trial; nevertheless, he could not openly kill her. 7 14

He advised Qian Renxue that Bibi Dong had to master the Slaughter God's Domain alone, while emphasizing that the Angel Domain better suited the girl's Six-Winged Angel martial soul. 10 Though initially unwilling to send his nine-year-old granddaughter away, he ultimately accepted Qian Xunji's plan for Qian Renxue to infiltrate Heaven Dou City, believing experience was necessary for her growth. 10 11

Qian Xunji's Death and Bibi Dong's Rise

Qian Daoliu saved Qian Xunji, Yue Guan, and Gui Mei after Tang Hao's attack, but Qian Xunji later died from his wounds. 16 He suspected that Bibi Dong had personally finished his son, but did not act openly, partly because of her Rakshasa God inheritance and partly because the truth was too shameful to reveal. 21

Following Bibi Dong's succession as Pope, Qian Daoliu's wrath fell on Yue Guan and Gui Mei for returning alive after Qian Xunji's death. Their fear of his retaliation pushed them to seek Bibi Dong's protection instead. 20 21

Elder Hall Crisis

When Nan Feng acquired two transformed 100,000-year spirit beasts, Qian Daoliu attempted to seize one for Martial Soul Hall. 44 46 The confrontation escalated when he attacked Nan Feng, only for Nan Feng to exploit his activated angel powers through possession. The incident left Golden Crocodile severely injured, Demon Bear dead, and the Elder Hall terrified of Nan Feng's abilities. 48 49

Qian Daoliu ended the dispute by surrendering spirit bones and ordering the High Priests to cease targeting Nan Feng's spirit beasts. 49 His decision preserved an immediate peace, but damaged his standing among the Title Douluo elders, many of whom subsequently aligned themselves with Bibi Dong and Nan Feng. 50 157

Qian Renxue's Crisis

Qian Daoliu repeatedly tried to keep Qian Renxue away from Nan Feng, whom he considered an unpredictable threat. 62 64 His concern intensified after Nan Feng revealed the circumstances surrounding Qian Xunji, Bibi Dong, and Yu Xiaogang, causing Qian Renxue to collapse. 132

Although initially prepared to confront Nan Feng, Qian Daoliu and Golden Crocodile eventually concluded that Nan Feng had not intended to harm Qian Renxue during that incident. 133 Qian Daoliu later admitted that the failures of Bibi Dong and Qian Xunji ultimately reflected his own failures as patriarch and father. 132
