Poison Arts and the Body Sect

Du Busi followed the Body Sect’s life-or-death poison-tempering path. At the brink of death, his Martial Soul underwent Second Awakening, producing a Physical Dharma Image that took on the toxins. Du Bisi followed the same path 118.

As Sect Master, he sought to make the Body Sect a home for all Body Martial Soul masters. Chi Xiao’s poorly cultivated Heart Martial Soul particularly troubled him: despite its potential, unsuitable early Soul Rings had left Chi Xiao stuck at Soul Saint. Du Busi wanted future disciples to avoid the same mistakes 24 27.

The sect’s connections with the Heaven Soul Royal Family helped it find recruits whom Shrek Academy had redirected to primary academies. Du Busi regarded Shrek’s interference as an attack on the sect’s foundation; six recruits, including Mu Yuan, had undergone similar experiences 11 27.

Mu Yuan’s Recruitment and Early Cultivation

Du Busi met Mu Yuan after the sect located him at Blue Tyrant Primary Soul Master Academy. He already knew about Mu Yuan’s arm Martial Soul and questioned him about Shrek’s examination 2.

He invested heavily in Mu Yuan’s development, supplying secret medicine and ten-thousand-year Whale Rubber, arranging suitable Soul Beast hunts, and providing a scarlet Secret Technique Soul Bone recovered from an Evil Soul Master. Conflict with Shrek Academy

After Du Busi killed an Evil Soul Master near East Sea City, Yan Shaozhe accused him of involvement in the village’s slaughter. Du Busi rejected the accusation, then confronted Xuan Zi over Shrek’s handling of Body Martial Soul recruits. When Yan Shaozhe attempted to ambush Mu Yuan, Du Busi demanded a hundred-thousand-year Soul Bone as compensation 7 10 11 12.

He later organized the Body Sect’s participation in the Soul Master Tournament and the establishment of an academy to qualify. The accompanying mountain gate was intended to give prospective Body Martial Soul disciples a recognizable place to join 14 27.

At Star Luo City, Du Busi renewed his compensation demand but postponed enforcement after confirming that the Shrek team had suffered serious injuries from Evil Soul Masters. Establishing a permanent headquarters also made him more conscious of retaliation and the wider political situation, though he remained willing to attack Shrek’s disciples if negotiations failed 57 59.

Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well

Following Mu Yuan’s intelligence, Du Busi entered the Sunset Forest’s poisonous miasma and reached the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. He endured severe poisoning to secure its Immortal Herbs, prioritizing Mu Yuan’s needs and suitable sect members over his own 27 28 32.

When Tang San’s Divine Sense projection appeared, Du Busi used the Snowy Swan Kiss to amplify the Jade Phosphorus Nine Absolute Flower’s poison and destroy it. He then removed the Immortal Herbs. Tang San’s retaliation aggravated his injuries, forcing him to obtain an immortal pill from the Aromatic Silk Beauty 33 34.

After returning from seclusion, he distributed the harvested herbs among the sect’s disciples. The resources contributed to the Body Sect’s growing strength and helped underpin his pursuit of higher cultivation 36 52 81.

Ambush and Retaliation

After the tournament, Niu Tian and Titan intercepted the Body Sect while Xuan Zi pursued its younger members. Du Busi fought Niu Tian and later withdrew with the badly injured Yu Gu 80 81 82.

Mu Yuan’s group escaped into the Undead Semi-Plane, but Du Busi arrived to find Xuan Zi, blood, and signs of battle without any trace of his disciples. Believing them dead, he declared an unending vendetta, pursued Xuan Zi, and covered Shrek City with his Poison Domain 83 84.

His grief persisted after returning to the sect, where he ordered the mountain gate dismantled. The survivors’ eventual return brought him overwhelming relief. He immediately turned his attention to their injuries, including Xue’er’s damaged Martial Soul origin 87 88.

At the Mainland Summit Tournament, he overwhelmed Shrek’s Limit Douluos before being drawn into outer space. Du Busi is fiercely protective of the Body Sect and treats its members as family. His plans for a public mountain gate stemmed from wanting Body Martial Soul masters to receive proper guidance, not merely from seeking prestige. His willingness to prioritize disciples when distributing Immortal Herbs reflects the same outlook 27 32.

He is direct and dislikes unnecessary maneuvering. Mu Yuan notes that he genuinely intended to bid at auction rather than take goods by force, and that he spared five masked attackers who intercepted them afterward. He also kills an Evil Soul Master without claiming to be a saint or champion of justice 7 17 18.

His restraint is conditional. Threats to his disciples can provoke collective retaliation, and he openly states that slaughtering Shrek would trouble him little after its elders attacked his juniors. He also poisons Fan Yu and severs his arm for withholding demanded Core Array data 114 144.
