Wu Hen felt a wave of nausea. He did not speak, merely gripping Yuan You tightly with one hand.

"Do you think I have no way to deal with you just because you won't talk? I am the ruler here. You are nothing more than boring dolls to me. The rule about not making a sound was purely for my own amusement." The voice of the Symbiotic Girl shifted again, turning into that of a rebellious, yandere-like young girl.

Wu Hen furrowed his brows. It would be a lie to say he wasn't panicked, because ever since he stepped into this place, everything he perceived told him one thing: this was definitely not as simple as a Virtual Game!

It was too real—so real that every sense in his body had been elevated to a clearer, more three-dimensional, and more stimulating realm!

"Still unwilling to speak? Then the only sounds you'll be making next are the most helpless screams!" The Symbiotic Girl's voice shifted into that of an icy, mature woman, devoid of any biological emotion.

Roots beneath her skirt slowly extended toward him. Wu Hen could now clearly see that the tips of those roots were covered in fine, dense, sucking teeth. If this thing pierced his body, he feared even his bone marrow would be sucked dry!

Wu Hen gritted his teeth, still refusing to utter a single word!

"Eee-wah!!!!"

Just then, that terrifying, shrill cry rang out!

Still aided by the backlight of the black lightning, Wu Hen saw a hideous, burly ghost shadow. It rushed toward the plaza at high speed, using its sickle-like claws to slash at the root that was reaching toward Wu Hen!

The Symbiotic Evil Girl reacted quickly, retracting her roots immediately.

She then glared at this ugly Head-Severing Demon!

"It seems you haven't figured out your place!" the Symbiotic Evil Girl said in her cold, mature voice. "I did promise you that those who make sounds belong to you, and those who speak belong to me. But since I set the rules, I can change them at any time!"

"Eee-wah!!!!"

The Head-Severing Demon was clearly unconvinced, letting out a warning cry toward the Symbiotic Evil Girl.

Infighting!

Wu Hen, standing to the side, felt a secret joy.

As he had guessed, the Symbiotic Evil Girl and the Head-Severing Demon were not as harmonious as they appeared!

The roots newly joined to the battlefield quickly bound the arms of the Head-Severing Demon, rendering its entire body unable to move!

"Shing!! Shing!! Shing!!"

Root after root erupted with terrifying piercing power, slamming fiercely into the body of the Head-Severing Demon. One of them even drove into the demon's skull, piercing straight into its brain matter!

Several roots writhed in unison, frantically sucking out the demon's marrow!

During this process, the Head-Severing Demon continued to struggle, and in its death throes, it managed to hack off more than half of the roots!

Emerald liquid covered the ground. If the Head-Severing Demon had just been given a little more time, it really might have been able to cut off all of the Symbiotic Evil Girl's roots...

As soon as she finished speaking, another delicate root appeared beneath the Symbiotic Girl's blood-red dress. This root was clearly more unique; it was as fragile as a flower stamen and radiated an extremely beautiful crimson luster!

"Don't be afraid, this is my umbilical cord. It's very gentle." Symbiotic Girl changed her voice again, sounding like a big sister full of maternal love.

Wu Hen's pupils dilated. At this moment, he realized that the true core of this girl was this Crimson Umbilical Stamen. It was highly likely that if he severed this Crimson Umbilical Stamen, he could kill this Symbiotic Girl once and for all!

As if a connection had been forged, the Crimson Umbilical Stamen belonging to the Symbiotic Girl pierced through Wu Hen. It traced the foraging Black Shaman Dragon, rapidly surging back toward the heavens like a red kite string, anchoring itself to the Death Sword-shaped entity!!

Sensing an erosion, the Death Sword-shaped entity plunged into the sky erupted with even more terrifying Black Celestial Thunder.

And so, the celestial thunder fell like a torrential downpour, slamming into Jue Town.

Every building was razed to the ground in an instant; every life was reduced to ash in a heartbeat!!

On the cliff, the Symbiotic Evil Girl was not spared either!!

It stared at the sky in disbelief, as if witnessing a miracle, filled with both terror and reverence!

But that could not change its fate of being obliterated. The Black Celestial Thunder struck it, turning it into dancing embers.

Nothing remained of it, save for that wisp of Crimson Umbilical Stamen!

This umbilical stamen detached from its body and, like a parasitic nematode, rapidly coiled around Wu Hen's arm!

Wu Hen held the Yuan You, the Yuan You was hooked onto the Black Shaman Dragon, and the other end of the lightning-wreathed dragon was the Death Sword-shaped entity. In the end, all of them were bound together by this Symbiotic Stamen Thread!

The Black Celestial Thunder annihilated everything, yet Wu Hen alone survived.

For a fleeting moment, Wu Hen felt his soul leave his body, reaching the heavens to merge with the Death Sword-shaped entity. After catching a breathtaking glimpse of the entire horizon, he was rapidly pulled back into his own body...

Silence!

Jue Town, the rainforest, and the firmament were all deathly silent!

After losing consciousness for a while, Wu Hen's senses began to slowly return.

Sight, hearing, smell, touch, and even the taste of ash that had drifted into his mouth!

But the most intense sensation came from his right hand. A burning pain traveled from his palm to his wrist, then from his wrist to his elbow, step by step up his arm, until it finally pierced shockingly into his left chest, reaching his heart!!

His heart was scorching hot!!!

It was being roasted by flames!

His heart beat violently, far exceeding the rate of a normal person, skyrocketing to over a thousand beats per second!

Wu Hen's entire body glowed with the red of agate. As his heart turned into a furnace of fire, the dense network of blood vessels throughout his body underwent a fierce cleansing!
