"Are we going inside to take a look now?!"
After their conversation, Amikura Mako, standing in front of the castle, was even more curious about what was inside.
But Gojo Satoru interrupted her thoughts,
"Let's go inside and look around this weekend. It's already getting late, and tonight I only brought you here to see the beach.
There's too much to see inside the castle to take it all in quickly, and you still have school tomorrow.
We can go inside with Kaka and the others this weekend. There's enough in there to keep you busy for ages."
"Okay."
Amikura Mako felt a little disappointed that she couldn't go inside right away.
But when she thought about going in with her good friends this weekend, her excitement quickly returned!
"Where are we?"
Amikura Mako had thought he was taking her back to the dorm, but she hadn't expected them to arrive at an unfamiliar city street.
"I used to spend a lot of time around here when I was in middle school, but someone drove me away later.
The person who drove me away isn't here anymore. They went somewhere else, so I thought I'd come take a look."
"Huh?!
Was there really someone even stronger than Satoru-kun?
They actually managed to drive you away!"
Not knowing the true circumstances, Amikura Mako assumed he'd been chased away by force and was utterly shocked!
"How could anyone be stronger than me? Maybe back then, I was the one who drove myself away."
Amused by her question, Gojo Satoru smiled and tapped her forehead with his right index and middle fingers.
"Oh."
She didn't understand what he meant, but for some reason, even though nothing about him had changed, Amikura Mako could sense that he was sad—or perhaps nostalgic?
"All right,
