Land of Lightning.

Yuki Kanpyo and Hidan walked through the depths of a cloud-shrouded mountain range, silently drawing closer to the training ground of Yugito Nii, the Two-Tails' Jinchuriki.

As Jinchuriki, both Killer B and Yugito had designated training grounds that people rarely visited.

"Are we there yet?" Yuki Kanpyo asked coolly.

"Almost. Keep quiet, and don't spook her!" Hidan threatened, waving his Blood Scythe and stirring the surrounding clouds into fragments.

So you noticed... Yuki Kanpyo shrugged and said loudly, "Why would I ever do anything to betray Akatsuki? You're overthinking it, Hidan."

"Keep your voice down, you bastard!" Hidan charged over in a fury, grabbed Yuki Kanpyo by the collar, and glared at him, baring his teeth.

Their voices echoed back and forth across the mountains, again and again.

"You did that on purpose, you bastard!" Hidan swung his Blood Scythe, ready to send Yuki Kanpyo to meet Jashin.

"You're the one doing it on purpose. Listen to that echo—it's all from you shouting," Yuki Kanpyo snapped, shoving Hidan away.

"Isn't that all because of you? You—"

Before Hidan could finish, a deafening howl suddenly rang out from the mountain peak.

They looked up and saw a colossal creature plummeting down, dragging a huge mass of clouds with it!

Yuki Kanpyo and Hidan immediately retreated in opposite directions.

"Who are you?" The giant creature plunged down at a terrifying speed, yet landed without a sound, as nimbly as a cat.

"You wouldn't happen to be..."

Hidan looked at the enormous monster emerging from the clouds, overjoyed. "The Two-Tails, Matatabi?"

"Hmph!"

Matatabi could tell at a glance that Hidan was no good, and immediately spat out several bursts of blue flame.

The flames danced through the air, seemingly alive as they chased Hidan, who ran around in a panic.
