The Empress of the Void Faction faced French Chicken's Taboo Negotiation Team with a smile on her face, and French Chicken's Taboo Negotiation Team smiled back.
In short, they were all smiles on the outside and cursing like hell on the inside.
Everyone knew exactly what the other side was thinking.
Keeping up the appearance of peace was enough. Did they really expect peace? What were they dreaming of? Everyone had their own little schemes.
They wanted nothing more than for the other side to die, yet the Empress of the Void Faction now watched as French Chicken's Taboos used the Empire Alliance's name to come negotiate with her.
Honestly, the Empress of the Void Faction wanted nothing more than to keep all these Taboos here for good. Did they really think she was that easy to bully?
But that clearly wasn't realistic right now.
After the Empress of the Void Faction occupied French Chicken, she had initially intended to swallow it whole, but eventually gave up on that idea.
The reason was the other empires of the Main World. As an outsider, the Void Faction could not put down roots in the Main World by doing that.
At the very least, not at the beginning. Crushing French Chicken at first was a display of strength; afterward, splitting French Chicken's territory evenly with French Chicken itself.
It showed that she merely wanted a foothold in the Main World and had no intention of expanding.
Otherwise, why would the Empress of the Void Faction spit out part of the benefits she had already swallowed? In the end, it was because she feared a joint assault by the other empires of the Main World.
After all, as a Scourge, the Void Faction would find it difficult to establish
