There Are So Many Books in the Number One Forbidden Zone, Yet You Haven't Read a Single One
Su Ye hesitated for a moment, then went to Old Man's office anyway.
"If you're here, come in. Stop howling."
Su Ye had just been about to let out a Dragon Roar, but the windup was too long. Old Man's voice came from inside, interrupting him before he could begin.
Su Ye pushed the door open and walked into Old Man's office. With a couple of sheepish chuckles, he carried a stool over and sat beside him.
"Old Man, what's going on?" Su Ye asked, looking at him.

Su Ye genuinely couldn't understand this. After all, he didn't believe the Empire was unaware of the Shadowmoon Clan's slaughter in the surrounding countries.
Yet the Empire seemed to be turning a blind eye, showing no concern at all.
"Do you think the Shadowmoon Clan is the only race from beyond this world?" Old Man asked quietly.
"No." Su Ye shook his head.
"There you go, then. What does it matter to the Empire whether people abroad live or die? The Shadowmoon Clan may be powerful, but it still can't threaten the Empire's existence," Old Man said quietly.
"Plenty more races have yet to descend. This is only the beginning," Old Man added calmly.
"Old Man, you mean...?"
