As the great doors slowly creaked open, a scene both familiar and strange appeared before them.

"It really has been a long time, but this place still looks exactly the same."

Looking at the hall that felt so familiar yet alien, Herohero sighed with emotion. This place could be said to have gathered the most glorious moments of Nazarick.

Several NPCs, whose names he could no longer recall, stood on both sides. He vaguely remembered that one figure, resembling a succubus, had been created by Tabula Smaragdina.

Forty-two banners representing the members were planted on either side. Among them, he saw Momonga, he saw Naiyuan, and he even saw his own emblem.

"Yeah," Naiyuan sighed as well.

"Look, that gemstone was something we fused using quite a few precious materials back then. I remember we failed so many times, and the final result wasn't even a powerful item. We got a real earful from Tabula Smaragdina for that one."

Momonga pointed to a ruby emitting a faint glow on the ceiling, introducing it to the two of them.

"And the materials we got from our first boss fight, the first weapons we forged ourselves, the first potions we obtained... we couldn't bear to use any of these things, and even now, they're still tucked away in the deepest part of the storage."

Naiyuan also sank into his memories, speaking with a touch of nostalgia.

"But in the end, everyone chose to leave. Even though... these were all such wonderful memories, why did everyone choose to leave without saying a word?"

By the end, Momonga couldn't help but tremble. His skeletal hand clenched tight, and he spoke with visible distress.

Sensing the other's emotions, Herohero, standing to the side, lowered his head. After all, he was one of those who had left just like that.

"Alright, at least we are still here, aren't we?"

"You have me and Herohero. The two of us will stay with you."

Naiyuan walked over to Momonga's side, patted his shoulder, and said firmly.

"Naiyuan is right. This time, I won't leave again."

Herohero also slithered over to their side, his pitch-black slime undulating as he spoke solemnly.

"We will witness the end together," Naiyuan said lightly.

These words made Momonga's heart tremble, and the complex emotions he had been feeling were soothed.

"How about we find another game to play together later? You, me, and Herohero—the three of us," Momonga said to the two of them, sounding a bit cautious.

"I'm down. Just make sure you remember to call me to log in every day," Naiyuan said, raising his hands with a smile.

"As for me, although my work is very busy, I can still squeeze out some free time. If you don't mind, Momonga, I'd be very happy to join you both."

Herohero thought for a moment, then said to Momonga with a smile.

"That's great. When the time comes, we can go on adventures together, level up together, and create our own Nazarick once again."

Hearing their replies, Momonga was so excited he began to gesture wildly, his entire demeanor radiating pure joy.

"When the time comes, you can continue being the Guildmaster, I'll keep being a hardcore grinder, and Herohero-san can just be a casual player."

Naiyuan laughed heartily as he said this to the two of them. If they couldn't actually travel to another world, having the three of them together like this was still a pretty good experience.

"That's a great idea. Naiyuan, you seem to be in high spirits as well."

Herohero said in a cheerful tone. He didn't know how long it had been since he last experienced an atmosphere like this; it made him feel as though his already numb heart could barely contain its joy.

"It's a deal then. I'll set up a group chat tomorrow, so make sure you join, Herohero-san."

"Don't worry, Momonga. I always keep my word."

"Since Little Hero said so, it's probably a done deal."

"There's only one minute left until midnight. Goodnight, you two. I hope you both have a good sleep."

"You too, Herohero. Goodnight."

"See you tomorrow, you two."

Momonga sat on the throne in the center of the hall, with Herohero and Naiyuan standing quietly on either side of him. As time slowly ticked away, Momonga began to look around. Everything from the past and all his memories were about to come to an end.

His gaze paused when it landed on Albedo, who was positioned below the throne. He had secretly altered her settings earlier and had almost been caught by Naiyuan. Thinking about it now, it really was quite impulsive of him.

Come to think of it, if Tabula Smaragdina, that fanatic for settings, ever found out, he would surely be furious.

Momonga couldn't help but let out a faint smile. Oh well, it was the end anyway; soon, everything would be gone. Even if Tabula Smaragdina found out, he would probably choose to forgive him.

Scanning the scene around him one last time, Momonga looked at the time displayed before him.

Ten seconds left.

Momonga slowly opened his eyes (or rather, the red dots within his eye sockets).

The familiar sight met his eyes, leaving Momonga, who had assumed the servers were shutting down, stunned.

"Was the server shutdown delayed?"

Momonga looked at his own skeletal body, wondering in confusion.

"Huh? Why haven't we been force-logged out?"

Herohero also looked at everything before him in confusion.

"It seems something unexpected has happened. Herohero, Momonga, and I—none of us have logged out."

Naiyuan looked at the magnificent hall, smelled the peculiar fragrance in the air, and felt the unparalleled power flowing within his body; he couldn't help but start to tremble.

A healthy body, immense power, and surging magic—Naiyuan had never felt as truly alive as he did today.

"Could the system have malfunctioned? But why can't I open the control interface either?"

Naiyuan suppressed his excitement, instead putting on a look of confusion as he looked at the two of them.

Goodbye, my loans. Goodbye, my tiny apartment. I won't miss you.

"Wait, Naiyuan, did you just move your mouth?"

Momonga looked at Naiyuan in surprise. In the game, characters had voices, but their mouths never moved.

"Momonga, your voice has changed too, and so has mine."

Herohero, standing to the side, said in disbelief. His original voice had changed, becoming more mature and steady.

"Ah, this... my voice!"

Momonga was shocked as he listened to his own voice. His original tone had transformed into one carrying a sense of majesty, giving off an aura of intimidation.

As for Naiyuan's voice, it had become free-spirited and magnetic, sounding light and airy, making it hard not to feel a sense of affinity toward him.

"I can feel it—the strange sensation coming from within my body. Naiyuan-san, Momonga-san, you two must feel it too, right?"

Herohero's steady voice rang out. He could now feel the power constantly surging within his body and the magic flowing through it.

"I feel it too. It's as if I've completely become a skeleton; I can perceive everything perfectly."

Momonga looked at his bony hand and said solemnly.

"The GM communication and chat functions are unusable, and our bodies have all undergone changes. That leaves only one possibility!"

"What have you thought of, Naiyuan-san?"

Herohero asked curiously.

"We've transmigrated, and all three of us at that."

Naiyuan spoke after appearing to be deep in thought.

"Uh, it seems there's no other explanation."

Herohero and Momonga exchanged a glance and said.

"Lord Momonga, Lord Naiyuan, and Lord Herohero, has something happened?"

Just as the three were stunned, Albedo, who had been standing motionlessly to the side, stepped forward and asked with concern.

"The NPCs are initiating conversation. Could it be that the transmigration has brought them to life?"

Momonga and Herohero looked at Albedo's actions in disbelief, and Naiyuan also put on an expression of equal astonishment.

"Is something wrong, my lords?"

Having received no reply, Albedo repeated her question.

Naiyuan, Momonga, and Herohero looked at each other.

The three of them looked at Albedo and walked down the steps, stopping only when they were a single step away from her. They formed a circle, surrounding her in the center. A faint fragrance wafted into their noses; as a Succubus, Albedo possessed a passive ability that made others infatuated with her scent.

The hearts of the three men trembled. As three virgins who had never had contact with women, how could they withstand such stimulation? Their hearts immediately began to ripple, but a light simultaneously shone from the three of them, forcibly suppressing these surging emotions.

The Undead's Forced Calm, the Dragonoid's Dragon Will, and the Slime's Heart of Darkness.

These three passives returned the three of them to normal, forcibly ending their lewd inner thoughts.

"Albedo, you go out first. The same goes for the other NPCs."

Naiyuan said calmly, his Dragon Will instantly putting him into a sage mode.

"As you command, Lord Naiyuan."

Although she was still somewhat worried, she glanced at Lord Momonga, who stood in place without objection, and said nothing more. As a Guardian, obeying the orders of the Supreme Beings was her duty.
