The Final Battle (2)

Uchiha Kei had never considered this mission simple, even though it seemed not too difficult in the original story. Reality and the original story were vastly different.

The Kannabi Bridge mission had long since gone awry. With continuous defeats on the front lines and a major blunder in the rear, how could the Iwa Ninja not notice Konoha's movements?

Moreover, even in the original story, it probably wasn't that simple. Just because it wasn't detailed didn't mean Kakashi and the others' subsequent missions would be easy.

Uchiha Kei took a deep breath, his gaze sharpening. Since a fight was inevitable, Uchiha Kei wouldn't waste words.

"I'll lure the Five-Tails away for now," Namikaze Minato said softly. "Your enemies are four, handle them carefully. Try to wait for me to return."

"Don't worry, Captain Minato," Uchiha Kei's voice turned somewhat cold. "Although I can't compare to you, I'm not that easy to deal with either."

"Then," Namikaze Minato nodded. "I'll be counting on you."

As soon as he finished speaking, Namikaze Minato vanished from his spot. The next moment he reappeared, he was already above the Five-Tails!

A blue Rasengan spun rapidly, and Namikaze Minato was even faster now than when he fought Han!

So he was holding back after all.

Uchiha Kei thought to himself upon seeing this. After all, this was someone who fought evenly with the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki and the future Fourth Raikage. If he struggled so much against just Han, Uchiha Kei would have questioned if he had met a fake Namikaze Minato.

Under Namikaze Minato's attack, the Five-Tails indeed focused its attention on him. Perhaps Han had been taught a harsh enough lesson by Namikaze Minato before, as the Five-Tails directly locked onto Namikaze Minato.

Uchiha Kei hadn't considered whether to guide the Five-Tails to attack Kannabi Bridge, but he dared not propose such an idea lightly.

Putting aside whether the Five-Tails and Han would fall for it, there was Imai Kenta beneath Kannabi Bridge. Namikaze Minato would absolutely not agree to Uchiha Kei's idea.

"Useless fool, can't do anything right."

Uchiha Kei didn't want to do something that would create enmity. It was he himself who had made the arrangement for Imai Kenta to go down and place the Explosive Tags. At the time, they hadn't expected the Five-Tails to appear, which led to that arrangement.

"Indeed it is. I must say, you stray dogs are quite quick to react," Uchiha Kei said calmly, looking at the group before him. "How does it feel to be chased by Konoha's main force? Or rather, how does it feel to have Kannabi Bridge, just within your reach, become the severed artery that bleeds you out?"

"Sharp words are useless, brat of the Uchiha clan," this Iwa Ninja showed no emotion at Uchiha Kei's words. "Take a good look at this bridge; it will become your graveyard. But I must admit, you are quite capable to have even forced out the Five-Tails. You're quite competent."

"You'll know how competent I am soon, because this will be your graveyard, and you will remain here forever."

Uchiha Kei raised his right hand, a black Kunai held before his face. "Alright, you two have wasted enough time. Let me see what qualifications you have to be so arrogant. By the way, there was someone named Gari before, similar to you, but he's already turned to ash."

Uchiha Kei's words caused the Iwa Ninja's expressions to turn somewhat cruel. It was clear they knew Gari.

But that had nothing to do with Uchiha Kei. As his Chakra continuously surged, these Iwa Ninja immediately adopted a combat stance, their burning gazes fixed on Uchiha Kei without yielding, their expressions terrifyingly focused.

Uchiha Kei scanned them, a total of four individuals. In his Sharingan, their Chakra strengths were all similar; they were all dangerous fellows.

Uchiha Kei remembered they were called the Ishi-mizu-shu Squad, a team that had troubled many Konoha ninjas and killed quite a few of them.

However, Uchiha Kei didn't take them too seriously. As the battle between the Five-Tails and Namikaze Minato continued to escalate and the distance between them grew, Uchiha Kei had already made up his mind.

His Body Flicker Technique erupted instantly, and Uchiha Kei charged directly at the first Iwa Ninja. His Three Tomoe Sharingan immediately unleashed a surge of Chakra.

This surge of Chakra caused the Iwa Ninja before Uchiha Kei to become momentarily dazed. It was in this daze that Uchiha Kei thrust forward!

"Clang!"

Unfortunately, Uchiha Kei's swift sneak attack tactic ultimately failed. Just as his Kunai was about to pierce the damned Iwa Ninja, an earthen wall suddenly rose before Uchiha Kei's eyes.

Uchiha Kei's Sharingan saw through the earthen wall. He immediately discovered that behind this earthen wall, one Iwa Ninja had already been plastered with at least ten Explosive Tags!

Upon realizing this, Uchiha Kei fiercely kicked the earthen wall and then leaped backward!

"Boom!"

Just a few seconds after Uchiha Kei moved, the earthen wall exploded violently. Uchiha Kei landed on a tree, coldly watching it all.

These Iwa Ninja were truly ruthless. They would resort to such shameless sneak attacks?

If not for Uchiha Kei's Sharingan being able to see through this Chakra-condensed earthen wall, he would have been ambushed by such a move, wouldn't he?

But Uchiha Kei didn't have time to think further, as several more Kunai flew towards him, all rigged with Explosive Tags!

"Be careful, Takeda. The opponent is from the Uchiha clan. Try not to make eye contact with his eyes as much as possible. Attack from the sides and from behind!"

As soon as Uchiha Kei dodged these Kunai, the four Iwa Ninja charged again. This time, they were clearly better prepared.

Uchiha Kei remained relatively calm upon seeing this. Although he hadn't encountered a four-on-one situation much before, it didn't mean Uchiha Kei had no way to deal with it!

Moreover, he had already made some decisions. If the situation turned unfavorable, Uchiha Kei would use the power of the Mangekyo!

Dodging an Iwa Ninja's attack and giving him a solid kick for good measure, Uchiha Kei had to jump up again the next moment to evade an attack from another guy coming from behind.
