Minato was a commoner-born ninja who became Jiraiya's disciple and rose to prominence during the Third Shinobi World War. His reputation as the Golden Flash was cemented by his battlefield record and the Battle of Kannabi Bridge, making him one of Konoha's most celebrated war heroes. 119 177

During the Kannabi Bridge operation, Minato fought Han, the Five-Tails Jinchuriki. By chaining Flying Thunder God movements, body-flicker speed, and repeated Rasengan strikes at the same point, he dismantled Han's Tailed Beast transformation without killing him. He and Uchiha Kei subsequently captured Han as a political bargaining chip rather than escalating the conflict with the Land of Earth. 42 43
