For the Sake of My Own Life

Late at night, Uchiha Kei left his home alone and headed toward Hokage Rock.

Uchiha Kei found it rather strange. He had no idea what Imai Kenta was up to, inviting him out for a late-night meal.

Most importantly, the place Imai Kenta had chosen was incredibly bizarre. It was neither a proper barbecue restaurant nor some forest where they could grill their own food.

The place he had picked was actually atop Hokage Rock. While that puzzled Uchiha Kei, he also found it somewhat interesting.

So he did not refuse. After taking care of what he needed to do, he headed out directly.

He was now quite curious about what exactly Imai Kenta wanted from him.

After all, that guy had never been anything decent. Uchiha Kei had understood that back when they had been teammates.

If he had sought him out, it had to be something important—or perhaps something tied to his own interests?

It did not take long for Uchiha Kei to reach the top of Hokage Rock. Soon, he found Imai Kenta, who had apparently been waiting for him for quite some time.

"What are you up to?" Uchiha Kei walked over and asked curiously. "Calling me out here in the middle of the night—what is it?"

"Of course. I'm not some bored idiot." Imai Kenta shrugged. "Sit. You drink, right?"

"Yeah, a little." Uchiha Kei walked over, lowered his head slightly, and immediately smiled.

The spot Imai Kenta had chosen was certainly interesting.

At present, Hokage Rock only had four faces, and Imai Kenta had unceremoniously chosen to sit atop the Third Hokage's head.

The First and Second were, after all, his ancestors. Although, strictly speaking, they had been screwed over by the Second Hokage, Imai Kenta still did not dare do something like that.
