"Do you two know what you did wrong?"
"Yes, Teacher Iruka."
"Then go home. Such dangerous techniques aren't meant to be used against companions and friends, especially when you're so young. You simply can't control them!"
"Yes. Thank you for your hard work, Teacher Iruka."
At Konoha's Ninja Academy, Naruto and Sasuke obediently admitted their mistakes and apologized to Iruka.
Their sparring assessment had certainly drawn plenty of attention. After all, they were so young, yet they could already use such frightening Ninjutsu.
But the problem was that they were simply too young—only seven or eight years old. They had no grasp of how to use those techniques safely.
If Kakashi hadn't suddenly appeared, who knew what the two of them might have done to each other?
Naturally, neither of them had gotten off easily. Both received the appropriate punishment.
For instance, after the assessment ended, they had obediently completed the task Kakashi assigned them—writing self-criticisms.
It was already past eight by the time the two starving children finished their reports and were allowed to leave the academy.
However, it was obvious that neither of them was in a good mood. After taking a hit like that, who could be?
"It's all your fault. You said you'd learned Chidori, and it made me unable to resist using Rasengan too." Naruto clasped his hands behind his head, his face full of frustration. "I'm done for. Mom's definitely going to lecture me again when I get back."
"You've got the nerve to say that? If you hadn't said something about using a finishing move, would I have used Chidori?" Sasuke turned back and snapped, though he was equally depressed. "What an idiot. You get people into trouble and don't even realize it."
"You're the idiot." Naruto rolled his eyes, but soon sighed.
