"Cheapskate." White Fox rolled her eyes at Jiu Ming and leaped straight onto the hovercar's back seat. Her massive body took up the entire rear seat, and her weight made the hovercar wobble before it steadied again. "This is really amazing. How does it float?"
"You wouldn't understand the scientific principles." Jiu Ming had no intention whatsoever of explaining it to White Fox. He didn't understand them either...
As White Fox looked around and poked at everything, Jiu Ming stomped on the accelerator. As the hovercar went from complete stillness to explosive motion, the unprepared White Fox nearly got flung out—if not for her quick reaction.
"Uwaaaaaah! You did that on purpose!!" Her two claws gripped the car body tightly as her hot-breathed maw roared beside Jiu Ming's head, looking ready to bite down at any moment.
"Huh? Didn't I tell you to fasten your seat belt?"
"Not at all!"
"Oh, then please fasten your seat belt..." Before Jiu Ming could finish, everything before his eyes went completely dark.
White Fox leaped straight from the back seat onto the front of the car. Her head pressed hard against Jiu Ming's as she let out threatening growls. "I'll bite you to death!!"
"Hey, hey, hey! Stop messing around, stop messing around—I can't drive properly! Hey! You're actually biting me!!!"
After a brief burst of chaos, flames accompanied by an explosion erupted from somewhere on the ground, startling quite a few nearby Exotic Beasts. Yet none of them foolishly approached. White Fox's vicious aura was simply far too intimidating to them now!
After all, every living thing had the instinct to seek fortune and avoid calamity. So even though their sweet dreams had been disturbed, these startled Exotic Beasts could only count themselves unlucky.
