White Fox first appears during the war at the human defensive line, where her humanlike intelligence distinguishes her from the surrounding Exotic Beasts. She confronts Jiu Ming directly, evades his attack through a Gap, and commands considerable authority among the beast horde. At the time, she has five tails and displays wind, lightning, and mental abilities. 171 172

Her battle with Jiu Ming escalates into a destructive clash involving illusions, tornadoes, Wind Blades, and mental attacks. Jiu Ming's transparent flames injure her mental power, while his later assault weakens her tornado. 172 174 After Jiu Ming uses a Sealed Card to make an illusionary grassland real, White Fox is severely weakened and begins changing toward a human-shaped spiritual form; the resulting mental mutation cannot be reversed. 176 179 231

Still recovering from the mutation, White Fox is restricted from leaving her nest by Big Fox.
