Fortunately, just before the shockwave struck her, the fragments of light from the shattered Sealed Card descended onto White Fox. The infusion of Life Force healed her fractured tail in an instant, while also offsetting the minor injuries caused by the shockwave.
"Ptooey, ptooey! You did that on purpose!" White Fox spat out the dirt she had bitten from the ground, glaring at Jiu Ming resentfully. She subconsciously swished her tail—and it really was healed!!
Her attention immediately scattered. White Fox vigorously flexed her tail, finding that there truly was nothing wrong with it anymore. Not only had the pain from her tail injury vanished, but her whole body now felt exceptionally vigorous, lifting even her spirits.
"Well, how could that possibly have been on purpose?" Jiu Ming smiled helplessly and took a step forward. This time, he did not pay attention. The instant his foot landed, the ground shook, and White Fox's delighted expression froze as she was jolted airborne again.
