White Fox blinked her beautiful eyes and asked, "Aha, just a few little trinkets."
Jiu Ming took out that "lightsaber" and tossed it to White Fox. It had seemed like nothing much when he first thought about it, but on closer consideration, the appearance of this thing was a little too delicate. Setting aside everything else, that material alone should not have been left lying around so casually...
And after taking it, because of its value, Jiu Ming had felt too embarrassed to touch anything else. Could someone have deliberately placed it there?
He could not help thinking so. If nothing else, it could have been a test.
"What the hell is this?" White Fox hooked the lightsaber with her claws and asked Jiu Ming curiously.
"Try pouring some energy into it." Jiu Ming stepped aside, letting White Fox test it out.
Though puzzled, White Fox still followed Jiu Ming's instructions out of curiosity. The spot where the lightsaber projected its blade erupted like a hair dryer, blasting out a turbulent cyclone as thick as a tree trunk...
"Hey! What the hell is this thing? It burns through power like crazy!" Feeling her power gush out like floodwaters through an opened sluice gate, White Fox stopped channeling energy in utter shock. Just then, she had felt like a balloon with its opening left untied.
"Of course it's an awesome weapon."
Jiu Ming smiled. This thing had plenty of flaws. One of them was that if someone with weak control used it, their power would pour out like floodwaters through an opened sluice gate. They either had to cut off the energy flow, or expend enormous amounts of power to maintain the blade. Besides, what form the blade took still needed actual testing.
