"Come to think of it, why haven't you left yet?"
"Didn't White Fox go with them?" Leaning against the wall as he sat on the ground, Jiu Ming gazed lazily at the sun in the sky and yawned, casually pulling out a huge parasol and planting it into the ground beside him.
"That's no reason! You staying here only makes me feel that pointless sympathy!" Evangeline said with a face full of disdain. Jiu Ming couldn't help curling his lip.
"Are you really not still resentful over what happened that night?"
"No!" Evangeline turned her head away. "Stop polluting my field of vision!"
"I remember your birthday is June twentieth, isn't it? Wonder if there'll be a chance." Jiu Ming said as if talking to himself, stroking his chin. Evangeline's mouth twitched. "Who told you that!?"
"The big-mouthed doll in your house."
"Tch, I really should replace Cha Cha Zero's head with one that doesn't have a mouth... What the hell is that thing in your hand?"
When she saw the green thing that had suddenly appeared in Jiu Ming's hand, Evangeline couldn't help asking.
"As you can see, a frog."
Jiu Ming held the frog by one leg. He had gotten the thing through the clone he had left with Class 3-A's sightseeing group... ahem, graduation trip group. It seemed they had run into a little situation during their journey: a huge number of frogs had appeared from who knew where throughout the Shinkansen train carriage, making some of the more timid girls cry out on the spot.
The little things looked pretty cute. After Jiu Ming had learned about them as a child, he had wanted to catch one to play with, but the limitations of his body's hardware had kept him from ever fulfilling that wish. Still,
