"...Oh." Jiu Ming nodded, gazing out the window as he reached up and pressed down a white tail that was dancing smugly in front of his eyes.
"I said! I'm an adult now!!"
"...Ooh~" Jiu Ming picked at his ear, continuing to leave the White Fox hanging. Seeing that smug look on her face, he decided he'd better not stroke her fur the way she wanted.
"Don't you have anything to say about it?" Seeing Jiu Ming still looking half-dead, the White Fox became a little displeased.
"Talk to me after you beat me. Besides, other than growing two more tails, you don't feel much different. Hmm, want me to find you a spot Yakumo Yukari recommended? She happens to have a fox at her place too."
Jiu Ming rolled his eyes. The White Fox had come bounding over here in high spirits, so he had known she wouldn't be able to resist showing off. Sure, after one long sleep, she had improved tremendously in every respect—but it wasn't that exaggerated.

"If you hadn't come over looking all eager to show off, I probably would have. Want me to treat you to some food?"
The White Fox agreed at once. She had slept for so long that she naturally had not had much chance to eat. Now that Jiu Ming had taken the initiative to mention it, she immediately tossed aside all her earlier displeasure. Yep, becoming an adult apparently had not done much for her
