After the Amazon Warriors had cut a big chunk off the Sand Worm, they figured it was Joker-sama's pet, and that tossing it into the sea would be a bit cruel. So they decided to drag it along instead.
It was a form of torture for the Sand Worm.
A creature that should have been roaming freely through the sand was now hanging over the sea.
If the Youshe were moving faster, the Sand Worm would have had it a little easier. When the ropes went taut, it skimmed along the surface of the water.
But when the Youshe felt like toying with it, the Sand Worm was in for a rough time.
Every so often, it sank beneath the waves.
Whenever it got the chance to poke its head above the surface, it let out a shrill howl.
It was calling for Joker to save it.
Buggy didn't pay it much attention.
The thing was tough as nails. After spending a day soaking in seawater and taking a few arrows from the Amazon Warriors, it had perked right back up.
