Joker's voice came through the Den Den Mushi, dripping with mockery and making it hard not to get angry.
Every Marine who received the signal had a grim look on their face.
Even Tsuru, aboard the command ship, couldn't help frowning.
What was the CP Organization even good for? The Gorosei had been attacked, and not a word had gotten out.
Even if the sound had just been blocked, the Den Den Mushi should still have worked!
They hadn't even been given a moment to react. They'd only learned from Joker's live broadcast that the supreme commander of their fleet had been kidnapped.
Warcury really should've made some noise before getting kidnapped—at least like old Saturn...
Tsuru wasn't the only one. Aokiji hadn't paid much attention to Warcury earlier, either. After all, the Gorosei were powerful in their own right, and with CP0 around, it would take at least two Yonko to capture one of them without a sound.
Especially Warcury.
But Joker had done it.
He'd even grabbed Old Boar by the throat, leaving him too afraid to speak.
What kind of lethal threat was that supposed to be...?
They knew all too well how resilient Saturn and Peter were... Surely Warcury couldn't be that fragile?
But both the background and the Golden Den Den Mushi in plain sight confirmed that Joker really had done it.
This was bad news.
Either Joker's combat power had surged again, just as it had several times before, or Warcury had lost his mind and joined forces with Joker.
But there was an even more important piece of news than Warcury.
