"Good morning. Would you like to join me for a bite?"
Buggy smacked his lips and invited the guest standing before him.
Out of respect for the Eternal Pose and his body's basic needs, he had still come ashore on this island, which had once belonged to Whitebeard.
Then he'd cheerfully had the islanders build him several stone statues.
If his guest took a longer look around, he'd probably notice.
The guest had flowing blond hair, six distinctive vertical scars on his forehead, and stood about as tall as Buggy.
"Basil Hawkins, right?"
"I've read about you in the newspaper."
"Mm, a Supernova, part of the Worst Generation, the Magician, the Diviner, Balala, and so on. What interesting nicknames."
Buggy grinned and prattled on without waiting for a reply.
The Holy Meal the islanders had provided wasn't particularly lavish, but it tasted all right.
A few soft flatbreads, dipped in a spicy sauce.
Considering that before Buggy arrived, the islanders had already hosted three waves of pirates and were nearly destitute, this meal was still acceptable.
"Honestly, I thought it'd be another pirate crew coming here. Maybe Whitebeard, Blackbeard, Redbeard, or someone like that."
"Just thinking about it is exciting."
"Why would you think they'd come to this little island?"
Hawkins accepted what fate had dealt him and tried the flatbread the islanders had offered.
"Mm." Buggy wiped his mouth and hesitated.
"Before that, would you be interested in hearing my story? I promise—it's completely new, and it's true!" He tilted his head.
Hawkins didn't answer. Instead, he took out a few Hand Cards and began his own divination.
"Condition one: Clown Buggy appeared in the Sabaody Archipelago three days ago."
"Condition two: there was no sign of you on Fish-Man Island."
"Then, Mary Geoise..."
There were only two routes
