During the afternoon break, Shin-chan was sprawled over his desk, fighting off the last traces of sleepiness.
Someone poked his shoulder.
Shin-chan groggily lifted his head and saw a somewhat familiar face.
Hyuga Shota stood beside Shin-chan, looking a little nervous. His eyes darted around as though checking whether anyone was paying attention to him.
"Um..." he lowered his voice. "Can you come out for a moment? I need to tell you something."
Shin-chan blinked, looked at him, then glanced outside.
"Are there any pretty Big Sisters out there?"
Hyuga Shota froze for a moment.
"N-No."
"Then I'm not going." Shin-chan flopped back onto his desk.
Hyuga Shota grew anxious. He reached out as if to pull him up, but did not dare actually touch him, so he could only stand there fretting.
"It really is important! It's about your class!"
Shin-chan lifted his head and looked at him.
"What happened to our class?"
Hyuga Shota lowered his voice. "Come outside. It's not convenient to talk here."
Shin-chan stared at him for two seconds, then slowly got to his feet.
In the corner of the hallway.
Hyuga Shota furtively poked his head out to make sure no one was nearby before pulling back and speaking in a low voice.
"Do you remember what happened a few days ago?"
Shin-chan tilted his head and thought for a moment. "What happened?"
"Those upperclassmen." Hyuga Shota gestured as he spoke. "Didn't your class chase them off?"
"The thing where Xiao Che got into a fight?"
"Yes, yes, yes!" Hyuga Shota nodded vigorously. "They lost face, and now they're figuring out how to get revenge."
Shin-chan blinked.
"Revenge?"
"Yeah." Hyuga Shota dropped his voice even lower. "I secretly overheard them discussing it. They said they were going to bring their whole class over to
