Rin froze for a moment, then smiled. "Really?"

"Really." Shin-chan reached out again. "Let me try another piece to make sure."

"No!" Rin hugged the cloth bundle to her chest. "It's a gift."

Disappointed, Shin-chan drew back his hand and looked at how serious Rin was. "Why did you ask me to come along?"

Rin paused.

"Because... you were there that day too," she said softly. "If I'm thanking someone, I should thank both of us."

Shin-chan scratched his head. "But I don't think I really helped much."

"You did help," Rin said. "You reminded me to ask the boss, and you were the one who took me inside."

Shin-chan thought about it. It did seem like he had been the first one to walk in.

"And..." Rin smiled. "I'd be a little nervous going alone. It's better to have someone with me."

Shin-chan looked at her and spread his little hands. "All right. Honestly, I just can't say no to you."

The two walked forward side by side.

After taking two steps, Shin-chan suddenly stopped.

"Oh, right. Where was that flower shop again?"

Rin stopped too.

The two looked at each other.

"I forgot," Shin-chan said.

"Me too..." Rin's face reddened slightly. "I only remember the general direction."

They fell silent for two seconds.

Shin-chan suddenly pulled a crumpled piece of paper from his pocket.

Rin leaned over to look.

It was a hand-drawn map, with crooked lines, several circles, and some messy writing.

"This is...?"

"The boss gave it to me last time," Shin-chan said. "A map for delivering flowers."

Rin's eyes lit up.

"You still kept it?"

Shin-chan tilted his head and thought for a moment.

"I guess so."

"What do you mean, 'I guess so'?"

"I mean..." Shin-chan looked at the paper. "I don't know why
