In the cold garage, Sun Jack was still searching for his target.
"Jack, go further in. The locator hasn't moved! Vajra is holding him, he can't escape!" Si Ai's voice came from his ear.
Sun Jack aimed the muzzle at Taipai, calmed his emotions slightly, and continued to cautiously move forward.
Suddenly, a figure appeared from the white mist. He almost instinctively wanted to fire.
But fortunately, Sun Jack held back. That person was clearly not the hacker he was looking for. After all, if it were a hacker, they wouldn't be locked in a transparent cage.
It was a youth, half of whose body had been converted into a mechanical prosthetic. At this moment, he was curled up, gnawing at his metal arm with his mouth. Even though his mouth was bloody and his teeth were gone, he didn't stop.
Seeing someone arrive, the youth suddenly raised his head and glared at Sun Jack. His eyes were completely devoid of reason, filled only with pure madness.
Seeing him, Sun Jack remembered the pregnant woman and the crazy things she had said.
"Is this Cyberpsychosis?" Sun Jack muttered to himself and continued forward. Soon, he saw another figure.
It was an infant, all four of its limbs replaced with prosthetics, and half of its head covered in metal. It was stumbling around in the cage, learning to walk.
Seeing Sun Jack and Taipai, the infant immediately giggled with joy, waving excitedly at them and babbling incoherently.
Sun Jack didn't know the cause of other Cyberpsychosis cases, but it was clear that the woman had become that way because of these so-called Cyberpsychosis, all of them modified by people.
Someone was modifying them, treating them like white mice, just like those human mines!
"Don't make that face. Although the working environment is a bit harsh, at least they have a job now, instead of being useless trash." A voice Sun Jack had never heard before sounded in his ear, a hoarse, low voice.
A figure walked out of the white mist on the left. It was a man dressed in Hip Hop attire, with exaggerated graffiti all over his face. He had no eyes, only two protruding black frame square lenses, clearly indicating his eyes had been modified.
The lenses on the man's face slightly retracted as he looked at Sun Jack and Taipai. He spread his hands, as if displaying his masterpieces to Sun Jack.
"I provide them with food, and they work for me. They are basically my company employees. What's the difference from everything outside?"
"What about the people in the cages? What about the pregnant woman before? Was she also your company employee?"
"No, they are company property," the man shook his head slightly. "And she agreed. We paid her, we signed a contract."
"What about the pain? She signed it herself. Everything requires a spirit of contract, and you have to follow the contract, don't you think?"
"But thank you too for helping us get rid of her. She was too conspicuous running around outside."
Facing this disgusting fellow, Sun Jack reached out with one hand, ready to blast him directly, but Taipai suddenly grabbed his arm. "Don't move!"
"Why are you holding me back!" Sun Jack asked angrily, looking at it.
"Turn around slowly. Don't move your weapon. Absolutely do not move your weapon." Taipai's voice was very calm, as if afraid of disturbing something.
When Sun Jack turned around, he saw two triangle red dots imprinted on his forehead and chest.
Following the red dots, twenty to thirty people walked in from outside the garage. They were holding various thermal weapons and looked at him with disdain.
These people had different prosthetic limbs, mostly very ostentatious in design. Besides that, another characteristic was the exaggerated graffiti on their faces and arms. They were clearly working with the hacker.
"You guys are pretty bold, coming here to cause trouble with just two people?" The Ponytail Hacker's voice came from behind Sun Jack.
"An industry this large couldn't be created by a hacker alone... this is gang crime!" At this moment, Sun Jack understood everything. Such a large mining operation, such immense profits, this was a gang's territory!
From the beginning, Sun Jack had fallen into a mental trap, always thinking that completing a commission meant finishing the task and dealing with the trouble. But this city was far more complex than he imagined, with intricate relationships.
Everything Sun Jack saw at this moment was also synchronized to the systems of the others. Vajra's voice rang out, "It's the Graffiti Gang. These guys don't like conventional prosthetic limbs; the more exaggerated the appearance, the more they like it. I heard they also secretly dismantle people's prosthetics to sell. I didn't expect them to be involved in this."
"He has quite a few prosthetics on him. They should sell for a lot of money if dismantled," a woman with a nose ring and blades for both legs said greedily, looking at Taipai.
Facing so many enemies, Sun Jack's heart didn't falter, because he wasn't alone. Especially when he saw the targeting laser light up on the woman's head as well.
"Damn it, don't move!!" Si Ai's stern voice came from outside the garage.
As soon as the voice sounded, the group reacted quickly. Half of them pointed their guns at Sun Jack, while the other half immediately turned towards the outside of the garage.
Outside the garage door, an SUV slowly drove in. Priest, Song 6PUS, and Si Ai used the car doors as cover, aiming various weapons this way.
At this moment, Sun Jack's screen flashed rapidly. He used the team channel to communicate with the others. If he didn't want to die, he had to break out quickly! But the disparity in strength between the enemy and his side was too great; he needed to find a solution.
The atmosphere in the scene was extremely tense. Just as it was about to snap, Song 6 raised his hand from a distance. "Wait! I know your boss! My sister is his Aunt!"
In the instant the Graffiti Gang members froze, Sun Jack directly pulled out several grenades and threw them at them.
Simultaneously, Taipai extended his right hand, and bullets fired from the back of his hand, directly shooting the grenades down in mid-air.
The grenades exploded too quickly, and the explosion didn't affect the Graffiti Gang members, but all Sun Jack wanted was the roar and smoke caused by the explosions.
The moment that fireball lit up in the air, Sun Jack and Taipai moved.
Taipai's legs bent backward, revealing tires that spun rapidly. He carried Sun Jack, charging out from under the flames like a tank, escaping towards the outside of the garage.
During this, the Graffiti Gang members continuously fired at the two with various weapons, the bullets clanging against Taipai's body.
