After all, Silver Dragon originally came from Old Seven spending years periodically crashing and burning, and thinking, since even trying hard to write commercially marketable fiction still ended in failure, I might as well let myself go and write a Western fantasy story I personally loved—even though it was universally acknowledged to be a crematorium of a genre.
Yet I never expected this book to perform so far beyond expectations, nor did I expect so many friends to like it.

Without all the recommendations along the way, Old Seven probably wouldn't have been able to keep going either.
