Qin Ming is described as Shrek Academy’s first and most outstanding graduate. Having reached the six-ring Spirit Emperor rank in his early thirties, he became a highly valued teacher at Heaven Dou Royal Academy. 42

During Heaven Dou Royal Academy’s New Student Trial, he covertly protects the students. He reveals himself after witnessing Dugu Yang single-handedly kill a Thousand Year Face Spider, becoming immediately curious about the student’s cultivation and spirit rings. 41 42

After learning more about Dugu Yang from Committee Member Zhi Lin—including his level, evolved martial soul, and Ten Thousand Year third spirit ring—Qin Ming resolves to build a Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament team around him. 44 45 He formally selects Dugu Yang for the team before the other candidates have been finalized. 56
