"How did that kid run so fast?!"
Like a giant rat flying close to the ground, Raymond did his best to conceal his tracks, slowing his already unimpressive speed even further.
Unlike Lin An, Raymond knew how dangerous the area around Eternity Peak would be after the purge ended. His heart was filled with both resentment and unwillingness to yield.
He hated that Lin An refused to act according to his plans, yet he was unwilling to truly give up on following him.
That monster was incredibly strong. Although his arrogance meant he would most likely die on the path to the summit, at least during the early stages, Raymond had been right to follow Lin An.
As the distant Eternity Peak drew closer and closer, the tension in Raymond's heart grew heavier and heavier.
A3 was just ahead. Since he could not see the rankings from within the area, he had no idea what had happened to Lin An.
In particular, despite sensing everything he could, he felt that the entire First Floor in the direction of Eternity Peak was unnervingly quiet.
Could he not have come here? That doesn't make sense either...

As he continued guessing what had happened to Lin An, Raymond's eyes narrowed. He suddenly saw a faint glow of fire in the extreme distance.
At the very edge of his vision, he could barely make out large numbers of Mechanical Modification Bodies falling in flaming explosions after losing control. They were like runaway warships, each fall triggering an explosion.
"He really... charged straight in?"
Raymond's heart jolted. After hesitating for a moment,
