"Captain, are we really going in?"

The Awakened was short and slight, wearing a headscarf and a pair of beige Lantern Pants.

He stopped in front of the Stone Gate and cautiously tried to see through the crack.

Unfortunately, all he could see was darkness.

Staring at the Stone Gate, the man known as the captain nodded without hesitation.

Everyone knew there had to be something wrong inside, but what else could they do?

After going around in circles, they had finally found a room. Surely they couldn't just wait outside the door?

Besides, he wasn't as reckless as he appeared.

All the major war zones believed that the longer they stayed inside a room, the more likely something was to go wrong.

But he believed the maze passages were the same!

In the Agility Trial, it was impossible for the System to let them simply stroll around.

He had heard that in the Strength Trial, the difficulty inside increased as time passed.

This place probably wasn't any different.

He took a deep breath.

The Turkey captain pressed one hand against the Stone Gate without hesitation and pushed it open.

"Screeech—"

The metal connection linking the Stone Gate to the wall let out a dry, grating sound.

It was somewhat unnerving in the silent maze.

The Stone Gate slowly swung open, and several people instinctively fanned the air in front of them with their hands.

"Cough, cough."

"What is that smell?"

It was an indescribable smell of rust.

It was as if an iron block had been soaked in seawater and then coated with a layer of pungent paint.

What a huge room!

The instant his foot stepped inside,

the torches hanging in the room suddenly lit up, their flames flickering and swaying.
