It was as if he had merely given a number at random.

At the round table, after Lin An calmly called out number 19, the Awakeners on his team hurriedly followed with their votes.

Andrew had made it sound nice. They would take turns voting.

When Lin An voted first, they would even abstain directly, minimizing the risk of a tie or an accident to show their utmost sincerity.

But Ron and the others remained vigilant.

A sound like electromagnetic waves spreading rang out. The selected number 19 Awakener immediately transformed into a stone statue on the spot. Only his rolling eyes proved that he was still alive.
