The little girl was sitting on Tang Yu's shoulder again, gently tugging at his ear.
He had to admit, hearing those words come from the mouth of an adorable little girl with such a sweet, innocent face left Tang Yu utterly shocked.
"I'm not interested in little girls. Don't say things like that."
Tang Yu hurriedly corrected her, then asked again to make sure. "So you're the Tree Spirit?"
"That's right. I just woke up today."
The little Tree Spirit stretched languidly.
She ran a hand through Tang Yu's hair and reminded him, "The Dog Heavenly Dao is rewarding you with a boost in strength. Don't fall for its trap and kill that guy who sprays shit, or you'll end up with even more trouble."
"Got it."
Tang Yu nodded.
He was indeed on his guard around the Dog System now, lest that thing dig a pit for him to fall into.
"But, you know, Granny thinks that even if you can't kill that guy, you can still do other naughty things."
The little Tree Spirit gave an evil grin, wrapped her arms around Tang Yu's neck, and pressed her cheek against his as she said, "Isn't his wife pretty? Your wife, I'll provide for her; don't you worry."
"That doesn't seem right. I'm not that kind of person."
"Good! I love how shamelessly hypocritical you are, Yuyu!"
"Waaah, I'm not! I didn't do anything!"
"Wonderful! You're getting more and more shameless!"
The little Tree Spirit gleefully rubbed Tang Yu's head like he was a dog.
"As long as Yuyu wins her over, we can get a reward—and it'll be far better than anything the Dog Heavenly Dao gives you."
She giggled and pointed.
A snow-white fruit the size of a watermelon grew on a branch of the Divine Tree.
