Another Little Bug

Trunks had been standing nearby, completely dumbfounded.

Was this really something a person could do? Just a casual wave of his hand had unleashed such tremendous power.

What would happen if he threw a punch with all his strength?

"Trunks, a little bug just came out..."

Ji Yun's lips curled into a faint smile as he spoke to Trunks.

"Huh? What little bug?"

Trunks asked, puzzled.

Ji Yun's cryptic remark left him confused.

"It's nothing. You'll see in a moment. Put your hand on me, and I'll take you to have a look."

Ji Yun said with a faint smile.

Though Trunks was confused, he still did as Ji Yun instructed.

He placed his hand on Ji Yun's shoulder.

Ji Yun put his fingers to his forehead and used Instant Transmission.

"Whoosh!"

In an instant, the two vanished from where they stood, leaving only a pile of rubble behind.

At a ruined cave.

Trunks and Ji Yun appeared there in an instant.

"Where are we?"

Trunks looked around at the cave, which had partially collapsed.

He clearly had no idea why Ji Yun had brought him here.

"If my guess is right,

"this should be Dr. Gero's old laboratory!"

Ji Yun explained calmly.

The Ten Times Kaio-ken and Super Saiyan transformations faded as well.

"Huh? How do you know?"

Trunks asked in surprise.

He knew Dr. Gero's name very well.

The androids who had dealt humanity a devastating blow had been created by him.

In a sense, that man was a sinner who would be reviled for generations!

"Didn't I say? I guessed."

Ji Yun smiled faintly.

In fact, Ji Yun had no idea where Dr. Gero's laboratory was.

But when he had just transformed into a Super Saiyan and used the Ten Times Kaio-ken,

his senses had also been heightened to their limit.

He had vaguely sensed an extremely chaotic presence here, one that was about to emerge.

"Let's wait here for a while. Maybe the little bug I mentioned will come out any moment now!"

The two waited at the collapsed cave entrance for about ten minutes.

Trunks was the only powerful fighter left on Earth, and this energy was so chaotic.

As someone who had crossed over and knew the story,

the identity of the energy's owner was obvious!

The rocks began to slide down.

The boulders covering the cave entrance instantly burst into dust, and the cave collapsed along with them.

Suddenly, a dazzling white light shot into the sky.

The falling rubble was struck by wave after wave of force.

As the waves continued, the rocks broke free of gravity and slowly floated into the air.

"Hahahaha! I, Cell, have finally emerged!"

A hideous green creature leaped out and laughed uproariously.

This ugly creature was none other than Cell, one of the major villains in the later story!

"This energy..."

"Uncle Krillin, Uncle Piccolo, and Teacher Gohan..."

Trunks looked dazed.

He sensed many familiar presences within Cell.

They all belonged to the powerful fighters who had died on Earth.

"Mr. Ji Yun, what is this thing? Why does he have everyone's energy?"

Trunks continued asking, his emotions seeming somewhat unsteady.

"This thing must be another monster created by Dr. Gero. Judging by what he just called himself, his name is Cell."

"He was probably made using the cells of all the strongest fighters on Earth. That must be why his energy feels so familiar."

Ji Yun explained vaguely.

Though the details differed somewhat from how Cell had actually been made, they were close enough.

There was no need to explain it all in detail. This guy wouldn't live much longer anyway.

Why waste his breath?

"So that's it. That bastard Dr. Gero is truly unforgivable!"

After hearing Ji Yun's rough explanation, Trunks clenched his fists in anger and glared at Cell.

In his eyes, the androids created by Dr. Gero had brought great disaster upon Earth.

Cell standing before him could be no good either, and in fact, he was right.

The harsh environment had also made Trunks decisive and ruthless. So, barring any surprises, Cell was going to die today.

"Trunks, what are you doing here?"

"And who are you?"

Cell noticed the two of them and even called Trunks by name.

He charged straight at Cell.

Cell was horrified. He hadn't expected Android 17 and Android 18 to have already been defeated by Trunks.

He also hadn't expected Trunks to attack without warning, giving him no time to prepare.

Cell hurriedly tried to defend himself, but in the blink of an eye, Trunks cut off one of his arms.

"Y-you bastard!"

Cell cursed through gritted teeth, his face twisted in rage.

His power was still very weak, and for now, he was no match for Trunks.

On top of that, he had been caught completely off guard. He was already in a terrible state.

"Take this!"

Seeing that his attack had worked, Trunks didn't even pause to catch his breath before launching another assault.

"Wait, Trunks!"

When Cell saw Trunks attack again, he hurriedly called out.

At this point, Cell had no choice but to back down. After all, he didn't want to get killed right after emerging.

Unfortunately, Trunks didn't slow his assault.

Instead, his moves grew sharper and more deadly.

Cell struggled desperately to keep up. Couldn't the guy at least let him finish speaking?

"Trunks, I'm not at my strongest yet."

"Beating me now doesn't prove anything."

"If you've got the guts, give me some time. I'll definitely become stronger."

"Then we can have a proper fight!"

Cell spoke as he fought, barely managing to keep himself alive.
