Background

Ji Yun is a transmigrator who arrived in the Dragon Ball world and awakened the God-Tier Choice System. Before Raditz’s arrival, he completed smaller system missions and had become Earth’s strongest known fighter, though he considered his 10,000 combat power inadequate for later threats. 1

When Raditz invaded Earth, Ji Yun chose the system option to confront him rather than ignore the conflict. He concealed his ki, endured Raditz’s attacks without injury, killed him with a single Kamehameha, and received the Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline as his reward. 1 3

His presence altered several major events. He defended Earth from Nappa and Vegeta, prepared for the threat of Frieza through Hyperbolic Time Chamber training, and later used Namek’s Dragon Balls to restore Planet Namek and revive Namekians killed by Frieza. 9 16 26
