After defeating the City of Slaughter’s assassins and helping his students advance, he brought them to the Star Dou Forest, where Spirit Hall’s Golden Generation arrived and considered killing them.

• Lin Yuan crushed Tang San and the Shrek group in a confrontation, then revealed his Title Douluo power and forced them to leave Heaven Dou Royal Academy.
• Lin Yuan exposed Xiao Wu as a transformed Soul Beast, threatened Dugu Bo into backing down, and kept Xiao Wu with him while Prince Xue Xing expelled Shrek Academy.
• Dream Machine appointed Lin Yuan to lead the Heaven Dou Battle Team, and Lin Yuan began training the students against his Azure Dragon, Shang Que.

Lin Yuan defended his students and Xiao Wu, clashed with Tang Hao, and strengthened Ye Lingling while keeping Heaven Dou Royal Academy independent of the empire’s factions. The arc ended with Lin Yuan preparing to train Ye Lingling and the other students as he sought a path to Level 95.

• Lin Yuan revealed his nine soul rings and Asura Demon Sword to defeat Spirit Hall’s forces, then sent Shang Que to help the students obtain their Fourth Soul Rings.
• Lin Yuan interrupted Tang San’s cultivation at Shrek Academy, injured him, and warned the academy that strength mattered more than having a powerful father.
• Lin Yuan rejected Xue Ye’s offers of imperial office and noble rank, then gave Ye Lingling the Aromatic Silk Beauty, boosting her healing ability and Soul Power.

Lin Yuan trained Heaven Dou Royal Academy’s team, dealt with former members who had joined Shrek, and acquired Cai Die at the auction. He also killed Dai Weilin for an ancient map fragment, while Tang San gained new allies and learned that Lin Yuan had harmed Tai Tan.

• Lin Yuan defeated the Heaven Dou Battle Team in the mist, then began training them and met Tang Yuehua, who agreed to teach him at Moonlight Pavilion.
• Lin Yuan discovered Tang San had tried to take herbs from Dugu Bo’s Medicine Garden and had placed a restriction there, then refused Dugu Bo’s request to take Dugu Yan as his disciple.
• Dugu Yan and Yu Tianheng visited Heaven Dou Royal Academy and saw Ye Lingling’s Rank 48 cultivation and the team’s progress, leaving them to regret their departure.

Lin Yuan strengthened Ye Lingling, clashed with the Star Dou Forest’s powerful soul beasts, and prepared for the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament. He then left Heaven Dou City for the City of Slaughter, where he began cutting through the King of Slaughter’s forces.

• Tang San enlisted Tai Tan to help rescue Xiao Wu, but Lin Yuan defeated them both and warned the Strength Clan not to challenge him again.
• Lin Yuan took Ye Lingling into the Star Dou Forest for a Soul Ring, fought the Titan Giant Ape and Sky Azure Bull Python, and forced Di Tian to provide a suitable Soul Beast and External Soul Bone.
• Ye Lingling absorbed a fifty-thousand-year Soul Ring and External Soul Bone, and Lin Yuan tested her new abilities before assigning her to train for the tournament.
